I went outside yesterday morning to find more Coprinopsis growing in my backyard fungus factory.  The fruit bodies were darker than the one I originally posted pictures of.

Thanks to Doctor Ghosty I was able to further identify this as Coprinopsis lagopides. A couple of sites I used to learn more about it:

http://www.first-nature.com/fungi/coprinopsis-lagopus.php
http://www.mushroomexpert.com/coprinopsis_lagopus.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coprinopsis_lagopus

I saw what looked liked an infestation on the top of one of the fruit bodies and decided to pick it and bring it to the microscope. I realize that I am actually seeing the brachybasidia which resemble a Bot-fly and the Pleurocystidia which look kinda like Hershey's kisses on the fruit body; and that it must be in the fruiting stage of development.

It seemed to have the smaller more round spores and it grows on grass; so I figured it is the Coprinopsis Logopides rather than Lagopus.  Its an ink cap and they say the ink can be used to write with! Something I had to try. ( I tried to make ink; not so easy! see further below)

This is the weird thing and where I need help with ID!  So, I am looking around and all of a sudden this bright blue Bugger comes walking into the picture! He is the approximate size of a Cystida (100u x 40u guessing) and starts walking around and then begins eating something next to a Cystida!

What is this bug?? Caterpiller? Scale insect? Termite looking. I took pictures and video of him walking about and when he finds something to eat.  He is rolling something while eating it.  The videos  are on Youtube here if you would like to watch:

and

I was wondering since he is bright blue if that has anything to do with the possibility of Psilocin being present in some form.  The bug is so blue! I was thinking he could go into a tequila bottle! What is his role in this venue? Any help would be appreciated regarding the blue bugger!

After the blue bugger I tried to make ink by smashing and smearing the fruit bodies. It wouldn't thin well so I tried mixing in various reagents. Iso-alcohol, acetone, water, baby-oil and hydro-peroxide.

[url=https://files.shroomery.org/files/16-38/475932104-160923115957903.jpg]

After cutting off the stems I smashed and smeared the tops. Had my Duck feather and an old dry felt pen, which worked best, to try and write with the ink.

Peroxide broke it down the best and alcohol made the best ink but it wasn't very good in any case.  I was fun trying. I cut off the stems and fooled around for 20 minutes and just made a mess. I did learn a few things though and that was good enough for me.

I hope you can tell me what that very small blue bug is! Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the pics of fruiting Coprinopsis Lagopides and its So. Cal blue bugger!

I Found a couple good sites with info on the bugger / Springtail:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podura_aquatica
http://www.senckenberg.de/root/index.php?page_id=14690

Apparently, they walk on water and are usually found on water. In this case, I found one on a decaying/fruiting Coprinopsis Lagopides in my back yard sod. His bright blue color probably has nothing to to due with the ink cap he was eating or psilocin as I postured. It was eating the Hyphae of the fungi.  He must have come from the soil, since my yard is not a lake!  Although, it gets a lot of water!

Thanks for the ID help Joie and Doctor Ghosty!
