Anyone here know about Google's DeepDream?

Here is an image of Starry Night by Vincent Van Gough, that was processed through through the Google Deep Dream Rendering Software.


But it also got me thinking about neurology and the hallucinations we receive from psychedelics.

What if psychedelics just activate the rendering pathways in our brains?

Not just for visual input and our other 4 senses, but our emotions as well.
Yes i know psychedelics activate 5ht receptors, which is responsible for mood, i'm just curious. Curious cat :chesire:
