A friend divorced his wife today

He left her a note saying "I don't love you any more" and then left to Europe.
Didn't even have the fucking honor to tell his WIFE to her face that it was over.
I honestly feel like beating the guy up.

Doesn't divorce take time? Doesn't it at least require the other person to sign the divorce papers?

Yeah no idea how this is going to work out. He is super rich, a jewish trust fund kid... so I imagine she could take him for a lot of money, and frankly she definitely should.
His wife is also my friend. I was at their wedding.
Apparently he was constantly demeaning and insulting her in public and just being an asshole to her.
Then he leaves a note and bounces out.
A note... to end your marriage.
I can't fathom it and I cant pretend it doesn't infuriate me.
I know its sort of none of my business, but I am profoundly angry with him.

Don't judge the guy unless you know both side of the story.
Maybe she was a fucking cunt with him for years.

Even so, honor would demand you tell your wife face to face its over.
You can get away with breaking up with a short term girlfriend over text or email, but this is your fucking WIFE.
If its over, you sit down and talk it out.
I don't know. Its disrespectful to the very idea of marriage.
But maybe I am taking offense unnecessarily.
Those who know them have told me it was him being the asshole, but who knows?
I can understand the appeal of leaving a note and then heading to a new continent, but I could never do something like that and I really lose all respect for someone who does that.
If you dont care about your wife enough to say face to face its over, who do you care about?
What is sacred to you, if not your marriage?
I know not everyone feels the same way, but everyone I know is angry with him too.

I am married too.
She and I had a moment years ago.
But no.
I just wish she had been treated with more respect.

Have you been taking SNRIs or Test/HGH? Really, your only concern should be talking to your lady friend and being there for her platonically; although, do not, I repeat, NOT push for more information to satiate your own desire for knowledge.
The whole thing is pretty paradoxical because you're getting mad at who you perceive to be a piece of shit because he left his wife, which would be a good thing if he was actually a piece of shit. See the dilemma?

All I took was a "testosterone catalyst" called Mr T a few months ago. But I havent been taking it since I cycled off.
But my test levels have definitely been higher and its effected my mood a lot.
But why do you ask that here? I have discussed it in many other threads.

I only asked now because you're starting to display some troubling symptoms that come along with high testosterone levels, like increased hostility and aggression.

I can understand that it makes your angry, but in all honesty, sometimes we just don't know what the struggle of the other person is.

I don't know much about Canada, but divorce cannot be that easy there. Divorce is a dissolution of a legal partnership. It sounds more like he just left his wife, instead.

Sorry about your lame friend. Its obvious that he never even loved her, to even do that. Probably got lust and love mixed up, and once the lust phase faded, he was out.
What a douchebag, no honor for him

That situation would have me pissed off too. A kind of similar situation went down with a few of my friends last month. A couple long time friends of mine had been dating for years, the dude basically leeching off the girl, living at her place, not paying rent or anything and not holding a job for more than a month in his life at 23 years old while she worked and went to school full time. Anyway, he just recently bailed on her for no reason, no confrontation, just moved out and is staying with a friend of his and won talk to her or anyone about it. There's some other complicating factors involved, but basically, I see the dude as a total pussy now and want nothing to do with him. Sad because I used to respect and look up to him a lil bit when I was younger, and I actually had a huge crush on my female friend in question for years. She deserves better than that.
Anyway, it's really none of my business, but I couldn't help being upset by it anyway so I see where you're coming from for sure; thats a more serious situation than what I just described. Sorry your friend got fucked over.

That story reminds me of a story my GF told me about her hippy friend.
This female hippy friend had a husband and 3 kids. They lived together in this house he bought. He provided all the money and she raised the 3 kids. Then one day, the husband just left the family and his own kids, with zero note. Just fucking left like he was kidnapped or something. Unbelievable.
I mean, to leave the wife is bad enough, but your own genetic kdis, WTF is that.......

Also, yeah, this. What you described isn't a divorce, just separation. Still fucked that the dude would do that so abruptly.
Moonshoe is definitely not from Iceland, but that's neither here nor there.

Moonshoe is most definitely from Manitoba, Canada.
Sounds like your friend is a dick, but maybe their relationship wasn't good?
Moon, are you still wearing your red hat?
