Pick. They look ready. KSSS is usually pretty stubby like that, wait any longer and they'll start dropping spores.

Wonder if it is easier or smarter to just break off the whole clump instead of trying to cut them off with scissors. Seems to leave a lot of steam that turn rally blue.

I twist off at base but may be difficult with them, I'd use a sharp knife.

Yeah it would be if you have one never handled surgical scissors but I imagine not as clean a cut as scalpul. Doesn't really make that much of a difference though

They are fragile. Some just feel off. Just starting ones. Drying them too. It just sucks they are so compact. I did over innoculant.
