Hi just need a bit of first time advice, so living in the UK I assume there's no point in just ordering a growkit as that would surely get caught by customs (yes I know grow kits and all are a waste of money but I just want something quick and easy) so I was looking at gettin the MycoMate Kilobag here and then buying a spore seperateltly so they aren't shipped together, if I'm understanding right then this would make it legal so customs would leave it alone, is that right? Also was looking at growing the McKenniis as I've seen a lot of things saying they're the most potent or is this just a load of shit? Thanks any helps appreciated

What's liquid culture? I'm really clueless on this all bein honest, it has an option to buy a spore seperateltly and days to germinate your liquid culture with the spore but I was thinking that as long as I bought it without the spore than ordered a spore seperateltly I was ok but I'm really not sure with any of this

.
-------------------- The biggest trip of my life was realizing all of the events and actions described in posts made by this account were never real and had never actually happened, but were instead the delusional ramblings of a severely mentally ill human being. I just had to move on for my own good. I love you all.

Don't ever buy a grow kit. They are seriously just a waste of time. You usually end up with a bacterial stalled bag, and you're fucked out of like 100 something bucks. Don't do it. It's an insult to cultivators everywhere.
If you really want to grow, get some basic things you need. Spores, grain, bricks of coir, maybe some gypsum, vermiculite, perlite, jars, a pressure cooker, a clear tote/tub and a few other basic necessities. If you want to get off to a running start, get agar and plates or glad pp5 containers also. I just got back into growing after a nearly 10 year break from it and got updated on all the new stuff I was missing ... It only takes about $120 or so to get most of everything you need in total and gives you the opportunity to produce literally as much spawn or whatever as you want.
Read the teks here and read our advice and heed it. Most of us do know something about this subject, even though there are quite a few that do tend to pass around bad information here. Any good community member won't allow this, and generally will give those people the 3rd degree or the boot.
Just use the search engine and get some information. Get a list of supplies you need. Find local suppliers, and use reputable online suppliers for the rest.
-------------------- Don't like researching posts? Read this! . Also, if you're new and your posts contain the words: Humidifer, incubator, air-stone, or heater, then you need to read and UTFSE before asking people to review your setup. OR... You should be cultivating reptiles and fish, not mushrooms.
