Hypothetically, if it could block electromagnetic radiation which does cause disturbances in neurotransmitter levels without altering the connectivity of the device, wouldn't it be worth the buy?

i think there's more electromagnetic radiation coming from your computer, or AC unit, electrical box on your house, whatever your using to browse this forum though, so if electromagnetic radiation is bad then we're all getting exposed regardless of the cell phones.

There's no cellphone radiation.

There's like 10 billion cellphone out there and no reported cases of brain explosions anywhere. Just like radio frequencies and anything other wifi item

HOWEVER: exposure to electromagnetic radiation from cell phones may disrupt neurotransmitters in the brain...

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/23852905/

Quote:

Abstract
BACKGROUND: The use of mobile phones is rapidly increasing all over the world. Few studies deal with the effect of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) on monoamine neurotransmitters in the different brain areas of adult rat.

AIM: The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of EMR on the concentrations of dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE) and serotonin (5-HT) in the hippocampus, hypothalamus, midbrain and medulla oblongata of adult rats.

MATERIALS AND METHODS: Adult rats were exposed daily to EMR (frequency 1800 MHz, specific absorption rate 0.843 W/kg, power density 0.02 mW/cm2, modulated at 217 Hz) and sacrificed after 1, 2 and 4 months of daily EMR exposure as well as after stopping EMR for 1 month (after 4 months of daily EMR exposure). Monoamines were determined by high performance liquid chromatography coupled with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FD) using their native properties.

RESULTS: The exposure to EMR resulted in significant changes in DA, NE and 5-HT in the four selected areas of adult rat brain.

CONCLUSIONS: The exposure of adult rats to EMR may cause disturbances in monoamine neurotransmitters and this may underlie many of the adverse effects reported after EMR including memory, learning, and stress.

Doing drugs causes way more drastic effects on brain receptors

Logical fallacy - strawman argument.

Drugs can help memory or they may be detrimental. Drugs are also largely avoidable, whereas electromagnetic radiation is not from cell phones as pretty much everyone uses one.

http://reset.me/story/the-alarming-ways-emfs-are-changing-your-brain/

But did you know "EMF's increase permeability of the blood brain barrier allowing things like mercury, aluminum, and viruses to more readily enter the brain." And presumably drugs too.

Cell phones are hella suspect according to this lady and she repeats what I said earlier that, "You can’t trust the manufacturers of electronic devices or the government to keep you safe from EMFs."

If that's significant at all with the  blood barrier permiability then they could start using that to treat brain diseases better.

Still tho, im pretty sure EMF's have been all over the place and in houses for a long time. And workers who spend 8 hrs a day in high EMF zones haven't shown any significant increase in brain diseases.

I'd say this debate is on the same level as chemtrails.

Some of those reviews are hilarious:

Being sensitive to radiation, I noticed a difference IMMEDIATELY! My hands used to ache from holding the cell phone, but not anymore! Also, in placing the phone just next to my PC, I felt a difference! AWESOME! It's no surprise the government backed these babies. They're even PATENTED! Some folks have a hard time understanding the harmful impact radiation has on the body, because you can't see it.

Remember Johnny Chochran?
http://onnidan1.com/forum/index.php?topic=52489.0;wap2

Studies so far do not show definitively that cellphone use increases cancer risk, said the authors of the consensus statement issued Tuesday by the WHO. However, "limited" scientific evidence exists, they said, to suggest that the radiofrequency energy released by cell phones may increase the risk of two types of cancers: glioma, a type of brain cancer, and acoustic neuroma, a tumor of the nerve that runs from the ear to the brain.

Both types of cancers are rare: In the U.S., about 10,000 to 12,000 people develop a glioma each year and about 3,000 develop acoustic tumors. The elevated risk roughly doubles that risk after a decade of cellphone use, according to some studies.

Anecdotal evidence

Claims of a link between cell phone use and cancer are not new. In 2005, Dr. Keith Black, chairman of neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, told CNN that the malignant glioma that killed O.J. Simpson’s attorney, Johnnie Cochran, was the result of frequent cell phone use, based on the fact that the tumor developed on the side of the head against which Cochran held his phone.

"We do know that there is a significant correlation between the side that one uses their cell phone on and the side that you develop the brain tumor on," Black said in 2005.

In an interview with PBS on Tuesday, Black responded to the WHO study’s conclusions.

After completing my telecommunication trade, I'm much more wary about cellphone than before. I have spoken to two of my teacher witch have been in the field of wireless telecommunication for over 30 years + and they both agree that exposure to cellular phone can't be healthy for you.

It really depends on how strong the radiation is, lets say that your office is right beside a cellular tower that is emitting a continuous 20 watt of power for over 8 hours a day must not be good for you.

I rarely carry my cellphone in my pocket, I always leave it in my car or in my bag. And when I have to make a phone call/receive, I use wired headphones with a microphone. Cellular is pretty new if you think about, the technology really starting booming in the 2000's era.

And I don't know where I saw this, but I'm pretty sure phone manufacturer state in their term of service that you should always have the cellular phone X amount of distance away from your body at all time. I don't know if this is due to RF radiation or for an other reason.

Cheers,
Bumbaa

I remember a product like that Crystal G. There was one product years ago, on those late nite infomercials. It was this gold square thing that u would stick to the inside of your cell phone, under your battery. I forgot the name but it somehow "blocked radiation".

I wonder if they really worked

check this out from May 2016 on the NTP test which showed increased cancer among rats,

The new results contradict the conventional wisdom, advanced by doctors, biologists, physicists, epidemiologists, engineers, journalists and government officials, among other pundits, that such effects are impossible. This view is based, in part, on the lack of an established mechanism for RF radiation from cell phones to induce cancer. For instance, earlier this week (May 22), a medical doctor in Michigan wrote an opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal stating that, “There is no known mechanism by which mobile phones might cause brain tumors.” He went on to argue that there is no need to warn the public about health risks.
http://microwavenews.com/news-center/ntp-cancer-results

And from September 2016 the NTP will soon explain the mechanism!
The same RF/microwave radiation that led male rats to develop brain tumors also caused DNA breaks in their brains. Female rats —which did not have significant elevated tumor counts— had fewer DNA breaks.

Sounds like straight up BS. You know half the shit on infomercials doesn't even work at all, they're scams.
