Unless you are very young you would know that we had bad choices before. Nixon got elected twice.

I don't think you can compare Nixon or Reagan to Drumpf. Both of them had long and/or distinguished political careers prior to their terms as president. If Drumpf is elected, he would be the first president that was never previously involved in politics, or didn't have some other accomplishments that the public respects, such as being a war hero. I guess we would have to add just being a celebrity, to the list of accomplishments that the public sees as noteworthy enough to elect a president.

Merica, is an Oligarchy. “analysis indicates that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence. “ (Gilens & Page, 2014)

I’m with Joe Rogan, with the frustration that we still follow this outdated system. 2 options (major parties; independents make noise).

Vote for Trump and make Merica great again. Do this. I predict the whole American political system, keels over. You should be fortunate to be alive, to witness such a metamorphosis. There’s going to be chaos, mass-hysteria. It’s literally going to be hell on earth. You better get your “Mad Max” leather duster on, BIG BOI! It’s bout to get bumpy. I suggest you move to the Midwest and treat it like a zombie outbreak.

All this stuff never really mattered anyway. We are the wage slaves, to our white collar feudal lords. We just don't see ourselves as slaves. I wonder if the Ancient Romans, could sense their own collapse. Were they grateful?

The end. We are beholden to a new beginning. This is all crack pot theorycrafting, anyway; or is it?

Yes, the Donald is hopelessly unqualified to be POTUS. I'm worried he'll win, and I don't think it can be predicted what will happen if he does. Desmond thinks chaos and mass hysteria. Maybe. Nixon indeed was a career politician, but Reagan was just an actor with good advisors, although of course he was Governor of California. You're right, it's different, but Reagan was as instrumental in the destruction of the American middle class as anyone, so I don't think he was all that better than Trump would be, in all likelihood.
I just can't bring myself to say I hope Hillary wins. Fuck, none of the above.
