What makes you think that mushrooms use anywhere as much air as a man?

I just want to see a pic for proof. He may say he stuffed wads of poly up his nose but he could be lying.

You can't be more off Sir. I wrote exactly what I wrote based on my observation. Your conclusion appears to be merely your interpretation of my words which has nothing to do with the actual intention. Assumptions and taking things personally is never a good idea Sir.

What is your actual intention? Can't be upset with assumptions if you make a claim and only follow it with 'just sayin.' Explain yourself. Mushrooms are not humans, so I really don't understand your 'experiment' and any validity you think it has. Why compare mushrooms to humans? What are you 'just sayin' with your post?

I have yet to see any evidence that your experiment took place. You also have yet to state your hypothesis. Perhaps a breakdown of the specifics of your experiment and controls would be good. Certainly a pic of you with poly jammed up your nose is needed if you want this to be taken seriously.
In the meantime...

...just sayin

Well I'm 8 days after bulking my grain spawn at 2 to 1 where two is substrate one is spawn. The condensation has stayed pretty good I feel like but damn its not really colonizing the larger empty areas of substrate where there wasn't much spawn. It seems like the ratio was off What do you guys think?

Yeah I clone pins that pop up on agar. That clone in the pic won't blob even in a taped up uncased mono. Course it does better with air and a pinning platform. But cloning is the only consistent way I have been able to avoid them. That clone aged out this winter and I'm now looking for new genetics.

Thatβs interesting. A golden ticket clone will behave consistently unlike MS.

What kind of total dry yield could you expect from a tub with 10 qts of spawn from an average cube clone culture? Assuming no surface condition issues or contams or anything. Probably flirting with a pound? Obviously this is really broad but we're talking ballpark figures.
Also, what kind of timeline are you looking at from spawning to bulk until the final flush? Two months-ish?

I'm not quite up to 10qts spawn per tub,(I actually hear around 6qt spawn per brick o coir in a 66qt tub)but seems about 1 dry oz per qt spawn is what I hear.
Depending on conditions,my personal projects took between 4-6 weeks from spawn to fruit.
Edit: Till final flush?Could be a couple months or more.

For the original design of your tub what sort of climate do you have it rigged up for? I might need to make my holes bigger haha stays at 99%rh levels but I'm certain that number is probably higher than 99. And the temp stays a constant 70-75 f degrees.

You don't need 99% RH in a fruiting chamber. You need 99% in the microclimate a half mm above the surface of the sub. Most people's monos probably sit between 70%-80%. My house is dry af.

i noticed after 6 of spawning and fruiting my coir top layer was noticeably drier in the center of the mono near the lower holes. Do you think i should add more mp tape to the bottom holes in addition to the 2 layers i have already or just mist?
4 myco quarts : 4 quarts of coir sub: 2 quarts of coir top layer

Oh damn lol well looks like I need to adjust my tubs. How would you suggest creating a better environment? Just add some holes? My house is fair in conditions about 30%-40% rh in my room

Definitely add more. Even half the hole might be enough. Dial it in. Or mist. Or both.
