I got a red hat 3
#23650347 - 09/16/16 12:11 PM (7 years, 4 months ago) |
|

I got this sweet red hat and grew a little bit of scruff and now I look like a badass.
Ive decided to become a jock.
Like a meat head who basically only works out and focuses on fighting and exercise.
Its kind of funny because I have always been a sensitive, intellectual, gentle person.
But for whatever reason I have transformed in my late twenties into a more bold, forceful, athletic and physically disciplined person.
I guess because I finished my masters and decided that rather than continue with academics, publishing, PhD etc, I decided to focus on the stuff I loved but had to put on hold while I finished my education, mostly athletics and martial arts specifically.
Just like I had to focus single mindedly on mental and academic stuff for like twenty five years, now I am focusing all my energy on martial arts.
It all sort of started when I took this Mr. T Testosterone catalyst supplement.
I didn't expect much from it, but my muscles started bulging like never before, my temper got worse (I almost NEVER got truly angry before, now it happens much more easily and often)
At about the same time I became obsessed with mixed martial arts and watching UFC.
Now I watch UFC and work out for hours every single day and train like a competitor.
My body and mind are both noticeably very different. I walk around feeling like I am holding two loaded guns, as stupid as that sounds.
My whole body is charged with this intense energy and basically a craving for combat.
I feel massively more confident. It carries over into all aspects of life, I am no longer afraid of conflict and I almost reflexively call people on shit more than I would have before.
I am joining an MMA gym, and hit my heavy bag while watching fights at home.
Even after stopping / cycling off the supplement, my muscles and physique remain enhanced.
I should also mention I changed my diet to a very high FAT diet, as well as high protein and avoiding sugar as much as possible.
People don't realize it, but FAT is the key to health. Fat is the precursor your body uses to make testosterone.
As a result, eating this super high fat diet (as well as high protein from protein powder and bison meat) I have put on muscle even when I am not hitting the gym.
Even when I am just doing martial arts and not lifting, my muscles are growing.
I think all of this together- The testosterone catalyst, watching UFC, eating more fat, working out- all of this has resulted in a large increase in testosterone, and that has resulted in such profound changes to all aspects of my life.
This experience has taught me that for men, having high test levels is huge. We don't realize it, but every aspect of our life and personality is effected by how much testosterone we have.
For me at least, jacking up my test has been awesome for me. The only downside is the anger, which is sort of crazy. Like I have had episodes where I very nearly threw my iphone at a wall, which is something I would never do before.
Still, overall its been totally worth it and my goal is to raise my testosterone levels even more.
I will soon go back on my second cycle of testosterone catalyst, as I start formal MMA training.
I am basically a different person now.
I no longer follow news, do academics, or focus on anything but fighting and meditation and yoga (yoga and meditation being seen as part of the martial arts training)
Its actually a massive relief to have this single minded focus and identity. It allows me to block out all the overwhelming, terrifying things I learned during my period of education.
My mind was blasted by terrible knowledge and terror threatened to overwhelm me.
Instead I unplugged from the horror-stream, and became a warrior.
I got a red hat.

Congrats moonshoe. I wanted to throw in my unsolicited advice and that is that a high fat diet is unhealthy because more fats equals more LDLs and that contributed to cardiovascular disease. Seriously just having a balanced diet high in veggies fruits protein some fat a some carbs. You need everything to function including carbs. Your brain survives only on sugar and when you have low sugar your body has to constantly signal to your liver to make sugar and that involves a lot of stress hormones like cortisol and catecholamines. Chronically elevated levels of these hormones are also bad for your cardiovascular health.

I would look for pure muay thai and jiu jitsu gyms moonshoe. Mma gyms are lacking technique big-time. The very best guys there will be able to point you towards the other places they train though. Good for you man! Fitness is great but if the goal is to be a good fighter, technique is everything.
I'm competing in a qualifier for the jiu jitsu world championships in about two hours so wish me luck.

As I understand it, higher testosterone does not necessarily equal more healthy. If you have a deficiency then sure, but it can also increase the risk for certain cancers. I don't think "the more, the merrier" is the way it works with this.

Thanks man. Some people have been giving me hate lately, but honestly I have never been happier, and despite the increased aggression, my attitude and outlook are happier and healthier than ever.
I think it makes some people uncomfortable and that is fine, but I am just sharing something that has made my life better. Much better, and expressing my feelings and thoughts honestly as always.

Trimming body fat (especially around waist) should do it, also diets high in saturated fat, cholesterol and Omega-3 fatty acids are supposed to help as well as heavy weightlifting.
It seems though that there can sometimes be a trade-off between having higher testosterone and better health, and I would probably take better health in those circumstances.

A high fat diet , the testosterone catalyst (all natural) and intense daily exercise .
Specifically squats and dead lifts raise testosterone .
I truly believe watching UFC releases it , especially when you work out.
Hit a bag . This kind of stuff raises test IMO.

Yeah we have talked about it a lot and we both want to do it. We have been trying for a while to set it up.
We might need to take a special vacation to make it happen.
We promised we would do it within a year, before I turn 30 (I am 29).
I need to like, make a profile on some sex sites or something. This is all new to me

We just haven't taken the necessary steps yet such as making an online profile on various websites . I am going to do thAt on my next day off and finally get serious.
We also blew a few perfect opportunities . We had one handed to us but we had our uptight friends with us who were super uncomfortable . We didn't want to abandon our friends to join the orgy, but in retrospect that was a HUGE mistake .
I am going to make up for lost time and try to set up at least three threesomes over the next year minimum, and I'm setting myself a one month deadline for making the first one happen.
If anyone can recommend the best website or app or whatever for threesomes specifically please let me know .
Wish me luck! We are a hot couple, but we are 30 so I don't want to put it off any longer.
We Both look close to the best we ever have so now is the time .

Don't put a time limit on how fast you have to find your first threesome. Imo it can make you come off as desperate in your posts on the sex sites.
Make the third feel like they are desperate for you two, not the other way around and it'll sure be a much more exciting night.

Well nobody else will know. About the time limit except wife and I.
It's a goal for us, not something I would post on the websites .
Thanks for the tip though!

No I wasn't saying you would talk about a time limit. Just that with that sort of thing in the back of your mind as you start your search, subconciously, it could lead to some funny phrasing.
All these threads that I've seen you mention you and your wife are throng to have a threeway, you better come back with some juicy details for all us pervs on the interwebs.
Good luck!

I will! I am planning to make this sort of a lifestyle And do it once every 3-4 months or so.
It's because we have been talking about this so long that I am setting myself this limit.
No more procrastinating. I am finally totally ready to get serious about this.
I'll make my profiles on 3-4 sites the day after tomorrow and have put First theeesome by (or on!) Halloween
I married young (19) and have always been faithful, and only had one serious relationship before I met my wife.
I couldn't be happier in my marriage , but I regret not having sex with more People before I tied the not.
Fortunately my wife is on board with threesomes, so I hope to have enough of them that I won't regret my limited sexual experience later on.

C'mon Moon. You know you are not allowed to be happy, positive, ambitious and serious at the same time on the Shroomery. It has to either be;
Extreme happiness usually involving irrelevant and pointless discussions, cause everyone is on copious amounts of drugs. Being so serious you drain the life out of a topic, cause you lack drugs.
It cannot be a combination of the two
That was a joke, Moon. It's alright to relax and have a laugh once in a while
