I got a red hat 3

I got this sweet red hat and grew a little bit of scruff and now I look like a badass.
Ive decided to become a jock.
Like a meat head who basically only works out and focuses on fighting and exercise.
Its kind of funny because I have always been a sensitive, intellectual, gentle person.
But for whatever reason I have transformed in my late twenties into a more bold, forceful, athletic and physically disciplined person.
I guess because I finished my masters and decided that rather than continue with academics, publishing, PhD etc, I decided to focus on the stuff I loved but had to put on hold while I finished my education, mostly athletics and martial arts specifically.
Just like I had to focus single mindedly on mental and academic stuff for like twenty five years, now I am focusing all my energy on martial arts.
It all sort of started when I took this Mr. T Testosterone catalyst supplement.
I didn't expect much from it, but my muscles started bulging like never before, my temper got worse (I almost NEVER got truly angry before, now it happens much more easily and often)
At about the same time I became obsessed with mixed martial arts and watching UFC.
Now I watch UFC and work out for hours every single day and train like a competitor.
My body and mind are both noticeably very different. I walk around feeling like I am holding two loaded guns, as stupid as that sounds.
My whole body is charged with this intense energy and basically a craving for combat.
I feel massively more confident. It carries over into all aspects of life, I am no longer afraid of conflict and I almost reflexively call people on shit more than I would have before.
I am joining an MMA gym, and hit my heavy bag while watching fights at home.
Even after stopping / cycling off the supplement, my muscles and physique remain enhanced.
I should also mention I changed my diet to a very high FAT diet, as well as high protein and avoiding sugar as much as possible.
People don't realize it, but FAT is the key to health. Fat is the precursor your body uses to make testosterone.
As a result, eating this super high fat diet (as well as high protein from protein powder and bison meat) I have put on muscle even when I am not hitting the gym.
Even when I am just doing martial arts and not lifting, my muscles are growing.
I think all of this together- The testosterone catalyst, watching UFC, eating more fat, working out- all of this has resulted in a large increase in testosterone, and that has resulted in such profound changes to all aspects of my life.
This experience has taught me that for men, having high test levels is huge. We don't realize it, but every aspect of our life and personality is effected by how much testosterone we have.
For me at least, jacking up my test has been awesome for me. The only downside is the anger, which is sort of crazy. Like I have had episodes where I very nearly threw my iphone at a wall, which is something I would never do before.
Still, overall its been totally worth it and my goal is to raise my testosterone levels even more.
I will soon go back on my second cycle of testosterone catalyst, as I start formal MMA training.
I am basically a different person now.
I no longer follow news, do academics, or focus on anything but fighting and meditation and yoga (yoga and meditation being seen as part of the martial arts training)
Its actually a massive relief to have this single minded focus and identity. It allows me to block out all the overwhelming, terrifying things I learned during my period of education.
My mind was blasted by terrible knowledge and terror threatened to overwhelm me.
Instead I unplugged from the horror-stream, and became a warrior.
I got a red hat.

Congrats moonshoe. I wanted to throw in my unsolicited advice and that is that a high fat diet is unhealthy because more fats equals more LDLs and that contributed to cardiovascular disease. Seriously just having a balanced diet high in veggies fruits protein some fat a some carbs. You need everything to function including carbs. Your brain survives only on sugar and when you have low sugar your body has to constantly signal to your liver to make sugar and that involves a lot of stress hormones like cortisol and catecholamines. Chronically elevated levels of these hormones are also bad for your cardiovascular health.

Props man! I wish I had the discipline to do this. Maybe I'll try that supplement for motivation. Were living in a anti-testosterone world these days. Glad to see you on the Trump team. Trump2016

I would look for pure muay thai and jiu jitsu gyms moonshoe. Mma gyms are lacking technique big-time. The very best guys there will be able to point you towards the other places they train though. Good for you man! Fitness is great but if the goal is to be a good fighter, technique is everything.
I'm competing in a qualifier for the jiu jitsu world championships in about two hours so wish me luck.

As I understand it, higher testosterone does not necessarily equal more healthy. If you have a deficiency then sure, but it can also increase the risk for certain cancers. I don't think "the more, the merrier" is the way it works with this.
