which method for jar hole coverage is best?
    #23649880 - 09/16/16 08:40 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

What is best should the dust propf coverall be cut into large circles and put under lids then seal or micro pore or plaster?

And should these be put into place before pc? Or after and if after won't the moment between the application be a point for contamination

Depends on what you're doing. PF jars? Grain spawn jars?

For PF jars the holes don't get covered. There's a dry verm barrier

For grain jars use polyfil or synthetic filter disks

Wait until you can do it right so you don't waist your time

Tyvek works. But if the coveralls were tyvek they would say Tyvek have a little DuPont trademark thing too.

Tyvek is shitty AF. PCs warp the pores. Mp is equally shitty for the same reason. Bandaids are great if you cut yourself. Not a good filter.

You should order a few 120mm synthetic filter discs from the internet and use a quarter to sketch out several rings on them and cut them to get several filters for the price of one big filter.
