Does anyone still trust the corporate media? * 1
    #23644806 - 09/14/16 02:35 PM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Seems like mistrust for the corporate media is growing exponentially. We are beginning to very clearly see, on a wide scale now, the agendas behind the media.

It must become common knowledge that the media is owned by a very small group of super wealthy elites. We have to get our fellow citizens to understand what their agenda is, where their power is derived and what other industries these elites are defending through the media, or simply not telling us about because it would reduce their power....

For example, the media down-right lies to us about pharmaceuticals, the oil companies, big banks and the military industrial complex. You never see the media covering these hugely corrupt institutions because they are owned by the same people who own the media!!!

We, the shroomery community, understand this, but many people still do not. Alternative forms of media must rise up. Imagine a Shroomery News Network, where we would all contribute stories about positive benefits from psychedelics, or alternative ways of seeing psychosis, mystical experiences, and other profound spiritual experiences. We could share TRUTH rather than the constant stream of FALSEHOODS and LIES that the media lays out like a grand buffet of bull. We could talk about how we have been poisoned by fluoride which calcifies the pineal gland, or talk about the agenda of DARPA weapons systems and secret operations like Project Bluebeam or Operation Paperclip, FEMA camps, New World Order...

We would share positive drug stories "Today a young man on acid came to the realization that all matter is simply energy condensed into a slow vibration, that we are all god experiencing itself subjectively, that life is a dream and death is an illusion and we are the imagination of ourselves"

I really do believe that the corporate media is on it's way out.. this is the age of revealing and their lies will all come out.. But we must share this perspective, it's our duty... to our real life community of friends, family, co-workers... we owe it to them to expose the lies and explain what is really going on, what are the networks of control and de-humanization and how we can defeat them.

i apply Hanlon's Razor to most apparent political/media phenomenon. though, it's good to keep an open mind, as there is just no way to objectively think that the most powerful people in the world do not conspire to have their way with it. it's simply unfathomable to think otherwise -- but i think they are mostly behind the scenes, not doing much, but mobilising what needs to be mobilised, when and where, according to their personal and collective whims...like a game -- but you make your own rules. i don't know if there is a giant globalist conspiracy though; just businessmen doing crap that they don't have compunctions about.

I trust the corporate media so little that I run my own publishing company to provide an alternative: www.vjmpublishing.nz

In my experience, there are people providing alternatives, it's just that they have to be spread by word of mouth for people to know about them as you cannot compete with the advertising budgets of the mainstream entities.

I've got a mate on FaceBook who complains about the corporate media, but he always shares their articles and never mine. Does my head in.

that's sweet man. when it comes to information dissemination it's a pretty dog-eat-dog world...it's a tough business to make your voice heard to an appropriate amount of people for the message (or messages, in your case) you may want to make heard. seems like a reliable source for media, though, you got there. you got many contributors?

It can be heartbreaking at times when it seems everything that is hyped by some of my friends are exactly that which comes from the media.

It doesn't matter whether you are christian, muslim, jew, atheist or ascribe to any other belief-system.
It doesn't matter whether you look out to the stars, or under a microscope to the tiniest of particles.
It doesn't even matter what kind of practice you perform to reach your goal.
Because if you keep looking, everything eventually leads to the same truth, like a fractal that contains itself in every direction you take it.
You will find yourself.

I love you.

Blatant self-advertisement.
