I think those that are offended by it is mostly due to lack of education. Breastfeeding in general takes a lot of time and dedication. I dont think many people realize how difficult it can be to consistently produce milk. Imo one should expect a woman to breastfeed in public when in our own country we have a severely short maternity leave and incredible lack of paternity leave. So expecting a woman to always find a "private space" or go to a bathroom just to feed her kid is ridiculous and forcing her to is even more ridiculous.

I think it's crazy just how insane some people react to feeding babies too.
Like this dude, thinks breastfeeding is so wrong but sees nothing wrong with getting so hostile and angry in front of children and scaring them.
People who always get mad at moms and try to scold or shame them by exploding only make themselves look like they have no fucking clue what's good for kids or for society. at all

Haha, I like in that video when that woman in the green tells him to not look, and dude says, "who are you, my mother?" Goes back to the point I made earlier about this all being connected to mommy issues.

My local pool is nowhere near that dirty. Yes you absolutely get an exchange of skin bacteria if you use a public pool but lets not get overly scared of each other.
Swimming in a public pool is a very pleasant experience and a social event. Don't let the seeds spoil the watermelon - dont let your fears of germs deprive you of mingling with the people of your community.

I can't disagree with you more and I'm glad I don't live with your apparent disgust for your fellow man and community.
I am not sure where your neurons got crossed, but you have just pushed your very own opinion onto me.

Madness.
Who now has an apparent disgust for your fellow man? You do. Not me, I was attempting to point out the opposite. I am merely saying that getting upset at your fellow man (as you and NotTheDevil did), when partaking in an activity that resembles bathing with unknown numbers of people is ridiculous.. The onus of blame is not on the people, it's on the activity. Which means you have no one to blame but yourself, because you decided the activity was worth the risk..
My post was not meant to emphasize my own view of swimming at a public pool. It was meant to emphasize your illogical thinking. But I will spell it out for you. Making a decision to partake in a communal activity that literally combines the germs of hundreds of people. and then slandering your fellow man (AS YOU DID) for making it that way, makes absolutely no logical sense. In short, if you get sick at a pool, its your fault, not a child's fault. Take some responsibility for yourself.

You know very well what's meant by that and it's no more an insult than "almost no one wants to see that". Actually it's pretty much directly linked to that statement seeing as if plenty of people wanted to see that, then there would be plenty of models and strippers that looked like that.

Generally speaking, hatred of women and disrespect of women almost always stems back to a mother. Basically they hate women because they tend to view their mother in a negative light.
And if it's not a mother, it's an ex who they feel really bitter and vindictive over, because they felt used or humiliated or diminished or whatever in their relationship.

Like them, I choose not to.
I dunno why you wanted to turn this into a thing anyways. I have an opinion (and not a very unpopular one, either) one you seem to have taken very personally and I'm not really sure why. Do you know someone who is morbidly obese and regularly goes out in public in a thong and tank top or something? Is it you? I mean I'm sorry if I stepped on your toes or something.

Fuck yeah man, right on. I feel lucky that I live in a place that's close to events like folsom street fair and other stuff that allows people to experience both nudity and sexuality without any of the shame or stigma that's gone along with it for so long. It's really liberating to be at an event of any kind in which nudity and sexuality is celebrated rather than looked down upon.
Big girls and big guys being nude is fine. If you don't like it, don't look. Lots and lots of men and women are into big girls or big guys, so the whole "no one wants to see that" thing is BS. Plus the human body is still the human body. It just doesn't get that bad even at the extremes. If you actually saw big men and women walking around nude, it wouldn't be nearly as bad as you're picturing it in your mind.

Like I said, I have an opinion, I have lots of them. There's probably a couple more in there you're not very fond of. I've known a couple of people who fit the generalizations I've made and was friends with them. Pretty much everyone I've ever known has done things or had opinions I vehemently disagreed with. Unless it's actually harming me, them or someone else I usually just keep said opinions to myself because why bother (here it's a bit different, if someone is really hurt/bothered by what I've said when we probably don't even live in the same state, I'd say they more to worry about than than my opinions). I'm capable of setting that stuff aside. Hopefully you are too. You're a cool dude, would hate to start clashing with you all over the place just because of today's events.

people will be people, some will look down on you, and you will look down at others, but do i think they should be locked up or physically assaulted for it?, hell no!
as long as yall are not hurting people or banging trannies in public u should be free to do anything u like. although that doesnt mean there wont be any consequences for ur actions, even if they are mutual..
