Though, I suspect it was originally grown in the ground vs the pot it is in now since it was so large when I got it, which may also be a factor here.
Do you think that is etiolating? Stretching in an effort to find light? Certainly there has been a change in growth habit, but it is interesting that it is a healthy colour, and now a uniform cross section.
Well I suppose that is good then, I am no expert and was worried he didn't get enough, which I cannot change. Someday he will hopefully get back into the ground and return to glory.

Thanks Ferrel! It's my TBM. Lots of different growth patterns going on there, hard to capture with my awful phone camera.

Looks like "melted wax" to me such a gorgeous beauty. I acquired some 5 new bridgesii genetics in a trade today, gonna post em soon. so rare to find someone willing to trade up here
Look I edited my post instead of double posting,
the tips got a bit squished
and he threw in this little crest
 no roots yet
this is the best one though, got lizard skin or something no spines
It has a ton of roots, I like it a lot!

Matucana Trichocereus Peruvianus; possibly my most favorite Trichocereus plant at this point. Hopefully it lives up to its reputation and its close cousin the Ogunbodebe cutting.

It's just under a foot. While I've found that it doesn't grow as fast as my other plants, it has been filling out in girth pretty evenly while it grows in heights as well.

Quick update about my very first Trichocereus, which by sentimental value makes it one of my favorites; Its now around 18in tall and has a healthy looking pup holding strong through this upcoming winter
Can't wait till it warms up a little and I can repot it in a 5 gallon bucket and really watch it take off!

Six inches in 3 months is a pretty decent growth rate, nice and even.

For me its any bridgesii that is healthy and grows fast. Bridgesii is my favorite cactus by far. All bridgesii are special plants IMO.
