It was more a joke. I'm looking to expand my jars but not that damn much lol. Maybe about 50 jars would be alright and for that I'll just stick with g2g as I already have several healthily colonized quarts of oat spawn.

5 quarts of spawn can easily make 50.

Yes. I have 3 grain masters at the moment that will be used for g2g. If I need to expand from there it'll probably be from a new culture as I have some aa+ spores coming my way.

You can g2g those again for more spawn. No need to wait for spores. 3 generations is the max that most reccomend. I'm with them, though I have occasionally gotten good results pushing it farther.

I have pushed loads of P values. But past 3 g2g you run the risk of the original grain becoming bacterial which is a major mold vector. 3 g2g from a quart could be turned into 100 pretty easy. No reason to go past 3 really.

not sure if OP caught all that...
You don't really want more spores. What you want is a method of taking a small amount of spores and expanding mycelial growth so that you have lots of spawn.
To do that you have two routes: a)start with agar and transfer clean growth to jars to make grain master which will be G2G'd to other jars to produce lots of spawn b)start with agar and transfer to LC broth to be grown out and used to inoculate lots of spawn.
If you want to scale up you can always produce: a)more grain masters to g2g to more spawn jars b)create a larger LC to inoculate more spawn jars

It's everything good about LC without the major drawbacks.

And a lot more advantages.
