All these mushrooms were located in south west idaho. pretty dry climate. in an old grass park with huge trees next to a lake. lake lowell in fact. some i found under giant pine trees some found under just regular leaf trees (a variety of trees) all pretty big and old though.
also when i found each type of mushroom. they were all found in the same area. i didn't walk 100 yards and find a similar looking one and put it in the same pile.
mushroom 1:
-found under a pine tree. in grass. -has rings. about 3/4 up the stem. -smells like that nasty mushroom smell the others do. -about a 2 inch diameter on the biggest one -stem about 2 and a half inches -mostly white with very small fades of brown/yellow -stem has a small hallow tube in the center of it, pretty thick and sturdy though. -thick ball like a tear drop on the end of the stem -bright white spore print on tin foil -pretty flat cap. but the younger cap seem to cave in around the stem.

mushroom 2:
-about an inch diameter cap on the biggest -wavy cap on the bigger ones - flat cap on the smaller ones -smells like the rest -small white spore print.

mushroom 3:
-couldnt get a spore print even when i opens up the spores and forced them to lay flat. -grey cap on top -black under neath cap -cap caves around stem

mushroom 4:
-very moist and there was not sprinklers on it -dark gray on top of cap -black underneath

mushroom 5:
-found a ton of these spread across a 20x30 foot grass section under 2-3 trees -bigger ones tend to have waves caps and sometimes have very thick stems -grow in all sorts of curvy ways upwards -tended to stay either on grass level or hidden underneath the grass -gold / white /brown yellow colors. -the top of the cap is a nice brown color with splitting streaks of yellow like cracks of the spores peaking through.. but the spores are all brown.. -spore print was lightish dusty brown very faint

Perhaps Leucoagaricus leucothites for the first, genera for the others might be Melanoleuca, Psathyrella, Coprinellus and then Inocybe.

what species are you targeting?
i suggest looking in old horse manure piles for Panaeolus cinctulus before it gets too cold.

I'm looking for VERY psychadelic mushrooms. almost life changing.
(just to be sure... none of those mushrooms are psychedelic right?)

you have options and options are good:
1. move or just make a pilgrimage to the PNW in about a month 2. move or make a pilgrimage to a more tropical clime 3. grow your own 4. find cincts in horse manure and save enough for a legit time
any active mushroom can give you what you're looking for if you eat enough and are of the right mindset.

i haven't seen white horse manure, but i've seen very well leached manure that becomes a gray-ish color if that's what you mean.
i have found them in manure that was about one month out of the butt and some hauls are coming from areas where it's so old that you have to part the grass and know what you're looking at to tell what prompted them to grow.
a lot of the more urban pickers find them in new subdivisions where they're laying fresh sod...or where more wealthy people live that have highly fertilized yards, but fuck that. other pickers find sweet hauls in old hay rounds and bales that are rotting but i'm not sure if there was something more to that.
the search engine is your friend, friend.
