monotub holes
    #23646697 - 09/15/16 06:55 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Greetings. can somebody please tell me whether putting either a few big holes stuffed with polyfill is better or many small holes all over the tub. i am worried that with the little holes dust and stuff might get into the chamber. Also how sensitive is a cake to contamination after been birthed and dunked? Do you need to roll a cake when birthed or is that just after every flush? Thank you in advance for bearing with me on my first post

Fully colonized cake you can scratch your bum with it.
You should have 4 holes on the bottom (2 each side) and two holes on top at the last two sides with loose polyester.

Bottom holes for gass exange two top for FAE.

Edit: forgot to say tight polyester at the 4 bottom holes.

thank you that was extremely informative. i shall try the SGFC as will only have around 8 half pint cakes. Again, for the SGFC are holes needed at the very base of the tub?
