my pics are equally as bad. i really need to get myself a good digicam soon, but everytime i save money i buy more music equipment. i just got this badboy, the digitech GNX 3 guitar processor ..... its the shit
"But, the GNX3's? power to unleash a guitarist's creative potential is fully realized in song writing. By utilizing the built-in drum machine and bass amp modeler, a guitarist can first lay down rhythm tracks on the built-in 8-track recorder. Then selecting from the GNX3's? unlimited library of amp models, DigiTech's exclusive and powerful CIT? (Cabinet Imaging Technology) feature, and a complete set of on-board effects, the guitarist can then lay down the guitar tracks. When that's finished, vocals can then be recorded on the remaining tracks using the balanced XLR mic input on the rear of the GNX3?. Even keyboards and DJ scratching can be added through the rear-panel instrument input. There's no limit! Plus, recording time can be greatly increased utilizing the SmartMedia? card slot on the rear panel."

Whoa. The GNX3 is on my wish list. Is it easy to program your own effects and tones? It seems complicated just looking at it.
Here's my Fender Highway 1 Series Strat. She's with me all the time. Actually on my lap right now as I'm typing.
Here's my two electrics, the other one is a POS Squier Bullet. I can't stand the paint job on it though, so I'm currently in the process of repainting it using this technique: http://snow.prohosting.com/drdyper/Boraxswirl.htm
And I just got a Yamaha acoustic for Christmas. It's an F-335.

Element - Is that a Fat Strat or did you mod it yourself to put in the humbucker? Do you like the HSS setup? I've only ever played SSS or HH.

Yea, I'm wondering if having a humbucker instead of single coil make that much of a difference? I find that I can get pretty much any tone I'm aiming for through my SSS setup and my amp controls. I just can't get the "creaminess" of humbuckers.

Yea its sorta complicated at first. after like a day of just messing with it you pretty much got most of it. It's so nice though, the quality of the effects are really good. and the beat machine is nice too, once you get to know exactly how to use the 8-track recorder you can make some awesome songs. like record a chorus over a beat, then save it so you can just keep replaying it and you can play your solo over that

This guitar is my baby, Yamaha SA-2200 semi hollow, the finest guitar I've ever owned. I bought it a couple of years ago when I was trying to learn Wes Montgomery songs.
I didn't want to play a full blown jazz box (too damn bulky) and I wanted some flexibility to cover rock/blues as well. Alex Lifeson played a lot of the old Rush songs up through Moving Pictures using Gibson semi-hollows, and I always thought he had the perfect guitar sound. Gibson is just too expensive anymore for their upper end instruments. I liked the Howard Roberts model but it was $600.00 more than my Yamaha and not nearly as nice.

I've had the guitar for a few years now. Never taken lessons though recently I've been having tons of fun with it, just playin' around to Dead music
Been a pianist for most of my life - having taken lots of formal instruction from a young age (not by choice) and then going on many years of hiatus. Getting back into it on my own time now that I got this nifty keyboard as a gift from my mother and grandmother

You own that double necked guitar? Looks like it says Fender, but that bastard moves too fast.
I didn't know Fender made double neck guitars. It looks like two six-string guitars. Is it single coils on the bottom and humbuckers on the top or something?

No I don't own it, but that's my amp in the picture. I found the picture of that guitar when I was lookin at jaguars/jazzmasters on the internet. Those are my favorite guitars. As far as I know, all the pickups are single coil, but the second guitar (one on bottom) is a baritone.

This is my gear. My amp is a Fender Vibrolux Reverb-Amp, a very old (But extremely powerful) tube amp. My guitar is a BC Rich Bich Platinum Series. Not the best that BC Rich has to offer. Nevertheless, it stays a really good guitar with awesome playability and killer tone. The black pedal on the ground is a DigiTech Metal Master - Heavy Metal distorsion. Its sound can be described in one word: DEMONIAC. The red pedal next to the black one is a Whammy bar, also from DigiTech. For those who do not know its purpose, it is used to raise the pitch of a note by 1 or 2 octaves. You can also do the opposite, lower the note pitch from 1, 2 or 3 octaves (With the divebomb feature). I also have 2 built-in choruses and a harmony shifter. My guitar cost me near 450$. The Metal Master about 140$ and the Whammy 405$. I don?t know about the amp because it is very old, but a guy working in a pawn shop told me its value was now near 1500$. My acoustic guitar is an Ovation Original, a very rare guitar. My grand-mother bought it for my grand-father, it costs her something like 200$. Its current value is 1200$. The sound it produces is absolutely heavenly.

I think it is 150 watts, with all the lamps in it.
Now it only has 2 lamps out of 9, so it's not as powerful as if it had all of them... I have to buy new lamps, SO BAD!!!!

I had the idea for a musical shroomery gathering a while back, i told shroomism but i dont remeber what ever happened to it. It would be bad ass to rent like a band shelter in a park or some type of auditorium for like a day and have a bunch of shroomerites bring there equipment and jam

Definitely would be bad ass! We should still do that.
The pickups are just the standard pickups that came in it, the "Black Magic" pickups. They actually sound pretty nice, 'specially out of the Twin.
