So I have these. I'd like to get prints of the 2 bigger ones, when is best to do that? Now? I'm unsure.

If youre going for similar genetics you should clone the stem of the large fruits. Spores will give you more random genetics.
To answer your question though just decapitate them now and leave them on your foil or paper for a couple days. 24h is probably even good.

Look for dark purple to black discoloration on the stem and veil remnants.
In this photo, on the far left mushy, you can see the spores collecting on a part of the stipe. On most of the mushies you can see the spores and discoloration of the veil remnants.

Once you see this, harvest the mushy and move it to foil. For best results, leave overnight.

I am fine with spores and random genetics for now. This was my first grow, I did this PF tek and was a little too optimistic. Now I realize the yield is going to be lower than I originally thought, and there is a lot of effort to put in to fruiting them with the misting and fanning. Everything is going swimmingly though, and I plan on doing wbs jars to mini monos next. All I needed was more spores which are printing right now!

One thing young man. Im now thinging spores to grains aren't so bad either. But be very careful with printing syringes making. Also if you can spare the time try pasty plates of agar. The tiger drop method is great for cleaning up prints. Next grow log you make i hope you share with us.

I suppose now I will have a couple prints to mess around with so there is nothing stopping me from doing agar, just gotta read up more because I am a bit confused after reading pastys tek. I always thought you needed petri dishes with special agar stuff and you used it to isolate clean mycelium to make a lc, but he doesn't mention what you actually do with the agar, or mycelium or whatever you end up with, just simply says you can "inoculate any medium". I will need to read up a lot more before I try this. I have a complete grow log, I mean, pics with dates on an sd card anyways. How would I share it? Would I put that in the journal section? I wasn't sure how that worked.

First, at the top click Pics,
Quick note: creating a new folder for each "set of pics" makes everything easier to work with. To create a new folder use the "Create new folder" button shown in the screenshot below.

then click Upload (towards the top of the page) and follow these steps,

Oh, yeah I know how to upload and put pictures in a post, I was just wondering if there was like, some standard way to put together grow logs or something. Just a normal post in the general cultivation message board?

Oh. I'm not aware of any template or standard for posting logs. Some logs are more organized than others, but structure comes down to personal preference (as far as I know). Yes, post it here in Mushroom Cultivation. Actually, posting it here may be more suitable and there is a stickied post that offers suggestions on how to format your posts and other information.

You could probably get prints from those now. Pretty much any time after the veil has broken Ive been able to get a dark print if I leave it for 24 hours
