Still no pins popping up yet. Substrate still has a nice glisten like before. Should I up the FAE?

Up the FAE slightly, just loosen the bottom poly holes a little, enough where you start seeing 2-3 inch evaporation rings around the poly holes, and evap around the substrate near the holes.
That this is definitely about to pin in my opinion. Once pins come, status quo until about 3 days from harvest, then up the FAE greatly.

Your hole placement is a little strange. Usually we do two on the long sides around sub level and one on the shorter side up by the handles. I just put my first mini mono together and my evaporation ring around the lid is bigger than the one your holes have. More FAE is probably needed here. Your pins should come regardless though.

Yea I have two holes on the back side that I kept taped. I didn't wanna risk drying the substrate out since its a mini mono. Think I should stuff those with polyfil?

Wait, so you only have four holes bringing in air on one side of the tub right now? I feel like the passive airflow will be kind of shit with holes only in one side of the tub.

it's hard to dry out a bulk substrate. I would go so far as to get as much FAE as possible to the point at which the surface starts to dry up, and then mist if you have to. because misting once every three days isn't work considering you'll be looking at your tub once a day anyway
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23656260#23656260
my "mono" like tubs have no holes at all. I just leave the lid half way off most of the day
imagine a sponge the size of a monotub substrate. even if you put a heat lamp over the top of it, it would take days to dry out

seems like most new growers are FAR more concerned with humidity and moisture. if anything going over field capacity in your substrate is worse than being on the dry side. and then fresh air is so much more productive for your pinset and first flush yield than high humidity is.
I would rather have a canopy wall to wall pinset with a few cracked caps than a tub where I can see the substrate still after the pins come in.

Not from here. Just give fresh air and pretty much let it alone. You should start seeing some pin sets come in pretty darn quick.

It's been getting a lot of FAE while I'm home with the lid partially off. I noticed the surface doesn't have the beading of moisture right now, should I mist it before I crash out tonight?

If i'm going to be home I just leave the top ajar a few inches. Check every few hours and mist if needed.
I also have been running mini-monos they last few runs. 9 quart tote/ 1 qt spawn to 1 1/2 qt ccvg. I have averaged ~70 grams first flush. I love the compact size of these.
