What is the biggest goal you have reached ?

What accomplishment in your history are you most proud of ?

Please share the most important thing you have done or attained.

I graduated from college with honors while maintaining a heavy addiction to synthetic cannabinoids, amphetamines, and alcohol. Not proud of the addiction but I think it's mildly impressive that I was able to do as well as I did in spite of it. Now if only I could find a way to put that 40 grand to some use instead of being a dilettante.

Probably all the long hard years I spent teaching myself how to pour my heart & soul into a guitar

'tis a skill that I will never lose

So far, quitting my job & social life when my family needed me to take care of my gma is something I'm very proud of.Also I've successfully but not intentionally swam a level 5 whitewater rapid without dying for more then 2 minutes or so. After the rapid I woke up bleeding profusely up and down both my legs. I couldn't use either leg at all. They were going to call a helivac but I told them I could finish the river and I did. I got a standing ovation from like 50 people at the end of the river. Apparently they made tshirts after me too. The tshirts read "upper Klamath swim team"

I identified the target of an anti cancer drug. It previously went through clinical trials and failed because at the time it was unknown how it worked and who should receive it. Turns out it's highly selective and kills only a small fraction of cancers that we tested. After a year of working on the problem I identified the protein machinery that the drug targets and uses to target a splicing factor for degradation. The key is that this splicing factor is only vital for life to certain cell types and if that cancer is dependent on it, it kills it. The interesting thing is regardless of whether this drug can now be used to treat the right cancers or not is that the mechanism of action is novel and it can be used as the asis for developing new drugs that can target other proteins for degradation using this technology. I'm pretty proud of it, all my education was worth something I guess.

proudest accomplishment is surviving up until this day with all my limbs and brains intact.

also, finishing my 3rd full plate at an all you can eat buffet was a pretty serious accomplishment. i thought i was gonna die right there, but i made it out alive.

Helped launch/market a cryptocurrency and took it from 5m-100m in market cap with a few expos + partnerships. Obviously not a solo accomplishment, but being part of the development and launch as a stakeholder of NXT was pretty great.

Aside from that, launching a a successful business in highschool and running it for several years.

Learning how to cook, Im pretty handy in the kitchen and I always get compliments whenever I make food for everyone. Thats something Im proud of its not a major accomplishment though, if you wanted something "huge" I guess I saved a dude having a heart attack and pulled some drunks out of the wreckage of their burning car years ago and years apart, but thats something anyone would do. At least I hope it is.

Somehow managed to convince a smart, gorgeous woman to support me through thick and thin. I'm not proud so much, as I'm still not sure I deserve it all, but I do feel lucky.

Also, to rebound from crippling depression. Comparing then to now, I did pretty well, I guess....

Taking the initiative in my life to improve it through hard work and self realization as much as the hardest task of making sure my life is filled with positive influences on my wellbeing and happiness, for better or worse. I've have given up many people who were not right for me, and with everything I have attained I can say it's for the better. I know who I am and where I want to be, I can't ask for anything more than that. Having two beautiful, intelligent children to warm my heart when I'm old is just a bonus. Life's beautiful, yo.

I want to thank everyone for all the great, inspiring and thoughtful answers so far.

For myself, I guess I would have to say finishing my master's degree with a 4.0 GPA and a full ride scholarship (which I won while in the psych ward) would be my biggest accomplishment in the sense of taking so many consecutive years of effort and hard work to finish.

Good question moonshoe.

I know it sounds terrible probably, but I'm not proud of anything...or rather, I don't feel I've accomplished much :/

Especially after reading yours nico...props man :raisemyglass:

I haven't really excelled anywhere in life to a point of feeling accomplished.

If my children grow up to live decently happy live's and they have  a good head on their shoulders, I'll feel like an accomplished dad.  But the verdicts still out on that one for awhile longer.
