EARLY BIRTH AND DUNK
    #23644458 - 09/14/16 11:50 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

I had 7 inoculated BRF jars that looked fully colonized and I gave them a few days for consolidation.

Today as I birthed a cake, I was rinsing off the top layer of vermiculite with my water hose to prepare for dunking and some strands of mycelium were wiped away exposing a brown under layer of vermiculite.

As of now, the cake is in the process of being dunked, i was wondering if I finished the dunk and roll process what are the chances of successful fruiting?

Or did i just lose a cake entirely and should display more patience with the other 6?

Thanks for reading.

Should be fine. A little mycelium can come off while wiping the verm layer off, just be a little more gentle next time.
