Best phone service provider?

My family plan is about to be up, so I'm looking for a new provider. Which do y'all think is the best for the price and service? I have T-mobile right now, and they're pretty good. Only complaint is every festival I hit up I have zero reception when all my friends with AT&T have service.
I'd go with cricket for the price, but I hear their network sucks ad constantly drops calls.

Ditch the cell service. You can get by with just wifi and save a lot of money.

You can "get by" but I find it difficult especially in clutch situations where you need to keep contact with someone and you aren't in range of wifi.

Yeah that won't work for me. I'm a private gardener and my clients need to be able to reach me at times where wifi isn't an option.

We are being raped with cellphone service and ISPs up here. 3 companies have a monopoly of the market so they charge ridiculous prices for everything, it's a damn shame...

Straight talk, paid 240 for 6 months. After 5gb data, they just slow it down for the remainder of the 30 day period.

Pretty sure this isn't the first time they changed our plans policy but gave us the option to opt out of the new stuff.
Not too surprising since phone and cable companies seem to squeez every last penny they can from their customers...

Word, I think I'm going to go with AT&T. It's gonna suck having to downgrade my phone because I really don't have the money to buy a nice smart phone right now.

-------------------- "I have no way of knowing whether you, who eventually will read this record, like stories or not. If you do not, no doubt you have turned these pages without attention. I confess that I love them. Indeed, it often seems to me that of all the good things in the world, the only ones humanity can claim for itself are stories and music; the rest, mercy, beauty, sleep, clean water and hot food (as the Ascian would have said) are all the work of the Increate. Thus, stories are small things indeed in the scheme of the universe, but it is hard not to love best what is our own—hard for me, at least."

Do you know that for a fact? What if AT&T has a closer cell tower to you than Verizon?
Point being that the major cell companies are basically the same
