Strange occurrences * 1
    #23638980 - 09/12/16 04:17 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Hi, first I'll introduce myself. I'm pratyahara, and I've been just looking at threads for a long time.

So lately there have been some strange happenings around me actually all the time. I can for example on days suddenly play pieces on the piano/ guitar that I could've never even dreamed of playing. I can clearly see what people think and I know what kind of movements are gonna happen around me in the near future. I can feel how my brain is working and why it is doing what it is doing. People have a strange attraction toward me, people walk up to me and tell me things nobody would normally say. What is happening

If you can feel how your brain is working then can you not explain this yourself?

You've accessed the slipstream of infinite knowledge attained through repentance. This is 'The Kingdom'. The Tao.

People will hone into you and bizzare events will happen based around this. One bizzare thing being that I play guitar and piano and was just recently going to start a thread about the same subject, since I too witness exactly the same.  I just took up piano to take advantage of it.  It's possible to access the mind of the artist.

I've began to write a short fictional story about a man name Francious in Begnac, France and it's all flowing in from the ether with me as the scribe.  Vast, brilliant ideas appear to come from nowhere.

This is the power.  It's beyond amazing.  I do my best to maintain access to it, since one slip of the temper or a few bad thoughts can swing the doors to the kingdom tightly shut and the cleansing process needs to start again, taking up to a few days to regain access.

Vigilance and power!

Not trying to bum you out, but this is in literally any point you mentioned identical to what people describe as first symptoms of paranoid psychosis.

Be prepared and tell someone about it as long as you can still make sense. You might get lost entirely in a matter of weeks.

Unfortunately not being able to believe this is part of the problem, so go ahead if you still can see this as a problem rather than a gift.

Sounds like your crossing this line at the current time.

Don't fully refrain from using antipsychotics over short time. They may root you in the real world and allow you to realize that your mind plays tricks on you.

Best of luck, don't hesitate.

Once a man is on the path, it takes an unmeasurable force to derail him, for he owns the very force that those put against him.

He approaches and inherits the place where practice and terms of medical and ailment are encompassed and understood as expression of wrong mindedness - the sin of man. He owns all concept, for good and for bad, embraces all creation and cradles all understanding.

To naysay against such a man is but a whisper in the wind.

Ones own refinement should take precedence.  The keys hang next to the door.

I know, from personal experience, though that is almost a decade ago and was due to organic psychosis after a major accident.

So I know how powerful and fascinating an experience it is to be paranoid schizophrenic.
But the truth is that it only makes sense in your head and the rest of the world is just shocked how fucking gone in your own world you are.

To misdeclare this as enlightment is fuel to the fire. It's absolutely awful to encourage psychotic people in such a way, as they will take it as a proof to be right about diving even deeper into psychotic ideas.

So, Duncan, have you already been diagnosed yourself?
Do you feel that inspired for longer periods, are there times your inspiration leaves you?
You sound manic.
At the clinic they take lots of care not to combine the bipolar patients with others, because they tend to wreak havoc in exacerbating other patients psychotic tendencies. They make them feel understood and deteriorate rapidly under that influence.

You may stop this, it isn't cool at all, no matter how few confused hippies don't understand how serious a game this is.
The only thing to that stopped myself from getting completely lost in delusions was that everyone was shocked about my ideas and it was horrible to see that I am alienated due to it.
Every single hint of confirmation would send me deeper into confusion.

@redgreenvines:

I'm unsure which statement you request to be backed up, you might clarify.

There is a tone which is angered which does reenforce my claim of wrong mindedness and it's futility in reception of the divine, but I'll give you the respect to answer since the topic is of great interest to me.

The Holy Spirts potency isn't prolonged and constant. It ebbs and flows in accordance to will and fortitude in keeping the pure channel open. One virtue to accomplish this is to prime onself to be free of anger.

A roar in a breeze is even more futile.

This was not an answer to my post by any means, besides this questionable critique.

Though anger is too strongly worded, you have correctly extracted that I do not condone what you are doing here.
What is it, that disabled you from accessing the content of my post?
Do you understand that criticism has to be somewhat harsh sometimes?

Your freedom ends, where the freedom of another person begins.
If what you initially wrote is indeed your normal, healthy, maybe just "spiritually enriched" view, then you should be able to understand that you may do harm with uttering it in this case.

Like I said, many points of the OP suggest the beginning of an utterly serious mental condition.
I did not think I would have to go into detail, but especially the second half may show the beginning of the megalomania/egocentrism typical for schizophrenia.
Being special and knowing stuff no one else knows, being able to foresee the future, read minds.
I've been there, experienced that.

So, it's unlikely that this is some spiritual advancing but rather an alarm signal shit might be about to hit the fan.

Do you understand that encouragement can be harmful here?

If you answer, please address what I wrote and don't evade. Thank you.

The person who established the topic is on the pure road of recognition.

It is the path of every holy man and monk.

No-one, nor method of indoctrination will close his eyelids back to sin.

He is surely special, as are you and all.

You just need to surrender to realise it.

as if every monk's path were the same - they are not!

maybe you are a monk? - hmm, what are you doing here?

maybe you have a mental affliction, maybe you see a glimmer of what seems to be a reflection and are projecting your personality into the OP?

It is this slant of angst which distances yourself.

Let me put it this way
we are consistent, you and I.

between us is a huge gulf in form and habits.

that is a distance I am happy to maintain.

I will re-iterate that you are not helping anyone by announcing truisms that are untrue, such as any statement about all monks being like you, and any suggestion about where the OP is at compared to you.

Perhaps it is a sad mix of role models that you have admired, but what ever the cause you are getting push back on this because it is needed.
