Hey everyone, I've been lurking this site for a long time now. I mainly browse ID and cultivation topics, and feel like I can contribute. I live in central Florida where I hunt mushrooms year round. I love finding all the shapes ,sizes , and colors of mushrooms and the different appearances they take on in different parts of their lifecycle and exposure to elements. I have explored many varieties of environments for mushrooms from slightly mountainous dry southern cali, the forested southeast Texas and its plains, tropical jungle like terrain in Florida and its wetlands. I'll be posting random finds, helping ID, and probably doing some schooling in your financial thread.

eyyyyyy Amigo Greetings and welcome to the better part of the web. Nice to see another florida hunter join us. I used to live in tampa myself. Make sure to check out the florida thread 2016 (we have one every year) in the Mushroom Hunting & ID forum, if you havent already. And the post your dank thread is a cool one also Florida is the best place for mushroom hunting in the US. So you got lucky there. We are really friendly here and its an awesome community. Lots of us are just normal people with a bunch of acid lol. I had lots of fun finding random mushrooms too. I would spend hours out there. You can find huge reishis in the forest areas of the fields. I never actually made one from the wild myself, but they are monstrous. My favorite were the pan cyans. Those electric zangy pearly shrooms. Good stuff. When you reach a high enough post count you can view the marketplace, but its pretty much just people trading spore prints and the such. Welcome
