Spawn to harvest

Whats up everyone i wanted to do a grow along from start to finish (hopefully) This is multi spore grow of b+
So i have a 58 qt tub that ive altered a tad because of no 1.5" bit I placed 3 1" holes on the long sides and one 1" on the short sides
i have done my calculations for a 3.5" substrate depth and im short a little but itll help increase the spawn ratio closer to 1:3 rather the initial 1:4.
And I will be running three led lights two daytime hue and the other very blue in hue
My substrate is 17.5 cups straw 15 cups jiffy Brick of coir 4 lbs. Spawn
Will be pasteurizing tonight and spawning!

Btw that velcro button turns the leds off and on
The tub has been officially spawned as of 9/12/16

Interesting idea with the lights, never used LED's, always natural daylight.
Why would you use jiffy mix in a bulk sub, that's usually reserved for casing layers. But hey, cubes are very lenient and will fruit either way, given clean spawn is used.
Those holes could be spaced better, the bottom holes seem wayy too close to the level of the top holes.
Good luck man, hope it turns out well for you

Very nutritious and also ph balancing.
And ehh might be picture angle cus its atleast 4 inches away from the bottom holes
Jiffy is nutritious and IS NOT a traditional casing.

Jiffy mix is mostly non-nutritious, as it is composed mainly of peat moss, which is the traditional casing layer used for casing monos. The added verm makes it slightly more nutrtious than just 100% peat. I've been using jiffy mix for all my monos, check out Frank's tek

Do you read whats inside of it? It has more than just peat and verm, and ive been using it in my monos for awhile now and with a jiffy casing

Looks colonized to me. Just a little less surface coverage. Doesn't look like an issue to me.
Looks good.
