Anyone ever used runestones?
#23636334 - 09/11/16 04:39 PM (7 years, 4 months ago) |

I was given a book and a little bag of runestones many year ago, as a gift. I never attempted to use them, but I found them again recently, and dared to ask for direction from them. I held the little sack-cloth bag, and asked them what I needed to do. Then I drew a stone from the bag. I drew Isa. As far as I can see, this indicates that all I need to do is be patient. I am already doing the right thing. I would be interested to hear opinions on how I should interpret this. Like Tarot cards, the meaning differs if the card is upside down, but Isa is a single vertical stroke, it's the same either way up.

Have you tried heating them up? I hear you get better readings if they're really hot.

Yeah, for sure. I just throw mine in the microwave for thirty minutes and drop them into ice cold water. Then I wait for the ice to melt and the readings are always spot on.

I read if you wrap them in tinfoil before microwaving it will help increase the clarity of the readings as well.

I don't really believe in this sort of thing but it was my understanding that runes are supposed to be used by their creator because the process of creating them specifically bonds them spiritually to you.

OP, I can do a better job of reading your runestones than you. Right now your runes are telling me they're what's preventing you from losing your virginity.

I think I'll let sleeping dogs lie. But I do actually know of several undisturbed Viking burials. You've got me thinking now...

Don't be fucking with no burials or you'll never get to Valhalla, the Old Gods don't favor grave robbers. Making runestones out of the bones of old pirates is like making a cross from the bones of da'christ

I see you live in Idaho. I guess you live in the 'My own private Idaho' part. Would you say you identify more with the River Phoenix character, or the Keanu Reeves one?

I'm a lvl99 post-cap mage IRL so I don't need runestones, but I carve them for beginners when my xp pool is full. That's about it.
