My country is fucked! (Philipphines)

My country is fucked.
Years of frustration have gotten to the filipino masses.
A new strongman takes power on the premise of erradicating the drug epidemic in the Philippines.
Now all his fans on social media keep posting non-stop news articles that are clearly one sided while they accuse the main news outlets for being biased.
There now glorifying a former dictator.
I'm tired its hard to tackle the ignorant hordes.

You've a rare gift, a man who is capable of seeing the slow yet somehow horrifyingly fast death of his nation. Bail motherfucker, bail while its not too difficult to do so

I did man, in Spain right now.
I can see it after the current administration runs out of scape goats to distract the population. Drug war, burying a former dictator (why it just causes drana and more distraction) I wonder wjat there next would they make as an issue to distract the populace.
The current administration is still widely supported since they have just won and are in power for only 2 months.
If they dont solve the poverty problem they might lose the support of the lower classes whose support they won by promises of crime and drug erradictation which they are doing with a firm Dictatorial stance which most of the educated upper class do not support.
If they do not solve the issue of poverty and which can only be done by further antagonizing the upper classes. Which I do not think will happen.
Come 4 years once they lose momentum and do not deliver on there promises Im pretty sure this would turn more of the people to communisim.
But hey I see this happening and if it does and I will return to my country and rise up with the victims of and hunger.
As we say in Filipino E Umpiza ang Rebolusyion Politaryo

Well that was fast .
It was just weird that you called it "your country" when you don't live there anymore, threw me off
I don't understand why more people don't do what you do. Especially if you have a small family, fuck it, just take them all and bounce. I think people just prefer to complain

So Duerte was in the American news a couple days ago. Did Obama do the right thing by cancelling his meeting with Duerte?

I know one thing, the police there don't take shit. I watched four PC's--that is their paramilitary federal police--catch a dude who stole an old ladies purse.
Three of them were still beating on the guy with clubs in the back of the jeep that the fourth one was driving away.

Starfire
People are looking back to thoose times with Nostalgia, All the abuses of the PC's has people just saying that we should move on and forgive and foreget.
I belive it is good that Obama called of the meeting since Duterte wants to purchase expensive and useless military hardware (Attack choppers and Fighter Jets)
An attack chopper would just be too expensive and overkill for fighting bandits, so are fighter planes. If the Philipphines gets fighter jets I dont think that would deter china one bit from taking territory since they have more advanced fighter planes and not to mention way more than the Philipphines would ever have.

That's cool, I would assume he still travels around the world playing tournaments and matches, BTW he's considered the best player of all-time among all the greatest players. There's a reason why he called the "the Magician"
