Azzies with Adden, We had a nice little trip a few days ago, which led me to my first azurescens find ever. I have been trying to plan a coastal trip for the last couple of years but always had other shit going on, and Adden randomly hit me up offering to show me the coast. - Thanks.

Hey nice to see you back! I was wondering when I'd get to see those shots. Had a blast homie. Hope you had fun at the party after. In a few days when it gets colder you should go to that last park we took pictures at and the one North of it, now that you know some places to chill close to home. Thanks for putting up with me, I know I can be a bit much, heck ask LocN9ne, haha. Your dog is chill, so polite lol.

Edit: Nice cyan pictures. Gorgeous, and a nice find!

yea, bruh. I had a blast with you and learned a lot. I can finally add azurescens to my signature. The party was pretty chill, i didnt have a costume ready so I just blackened my eye and bloodied my nose and lip, tore up my clothes and went as a beat-up dude. lol

Ahh yes. A beautiful, flourishing patch with lots of matures found today in portland. In an extremely public area. Perhaps one of your creations, Mr.Piggy? Persistence pays off gentlemen. Glad to contribute something to this thread this season.

Either way, great find! Now make some spore prints and spread em!

Ovoids and some Cyans

Someone had snipped most the mature caps off and left the stems but he/she was pretty respectful and careful which I appriciate, so I don't mind sharing and even left me a few mature fruits for printing. Thanks mate happy hunting!

Pacthes starting to come in more
But man, they just never seem to get very big, I wonder if its due to stress from people walking on a trail near them so often. Some of these patches I think are known, but others I've put markers to find out if they've been disturbed and are definitely left alone.
They tend to get very tall, but never full fill out into big wavy caps.

But hey, if they go untouched and this rain keeps up, they should keep growing.
Found about a dozen of these sort of patches.
Any tips on hunting a bit more wild of cyans? I've never found a proper patch of cyans, that isn't random stragglers, that isn't caused by anthropogenic activity. Wondering if its worth it to get a rake and venture off of the bark chip paths in these parks.

Here are the weird cyans I found with topcorn the other day.

Had a middle aged gentleman who was also hunting in the same area as myself and a buddy get super agro on us. Apparently stepping in a planter is a no no. He came up all huffy and puffy telling us not to step in the planter because we would step on more than we would find. We tried to tell him that we were being careful but the dude would not stop talking about how fed up he was with people fucking up patches and talking to us like we were children. What a prick. I can sympathize about people being careless and raping patches but give someone the benefit of the doubt before laying into them. Making snap judgments when you don't know the whole story is never a good idea.

i think that the missing caps is more likely the handiwork of local slugs, rather than someone snipping them off.
i only say this because I have been at war with slugs in a couple areas that can come over night and turn a whole patch into a graveyard of stems like you have pictured. Quote:

Those are weird looking, reminds me of some mutant cubensis that i have pop up now and again.. I come across lone cyans like this, but not entire clusters/patches like that tho.
