Don't forget they fall from trees and use the wind to slingshot themselves so it's not 100% but it helps, and definitely from other species of slugs and snails.
If you guys see rollie pollies, leave them be, they take an incredibly ridiculous amount of heavy metals from the soil (and then your mushrooms). Your mushrooms have to be dead and dying for them to take a foothold. Leave those guys they are on the same team.

Yep, rolly pollys have always been allowed. My Lakota grandma told me that when I was 5. They get exempt card no matter what.

the rain just washes that stuff away. It helps but still need to stay on top of it. Bowls of beer have always worked best for me. Hedge hogs and ducks eat slugs. Copper didn't work for me but i just used light gage cable. Pipe would be better. Crushed oyster shells makes a nice sharp barrier same with rock salt. but then again the rain washes it away in no time. Melon rines work to gather them for a mass kill. still work. make sure you get the food grade D Earth.

sluggo is just iron phosphate and safe to use on vegetables right up until harvest. not a shill and you can get that stuff anywhere.
i think a shroomerite has used it before on a home patch but maybe i'm imagining that.

Anyone in the Hammond, OR area monitoring the coastline? I'm monitoring the temps, waiting for it to drop closer to the low 40's. This year's temps and mushrooms have been waaaaaaay early! <3

Wow Salem and south treating me very well. Had to run Down last few days and it has paid off new patches every where I look. Some are a bit past prime unfortunately Portland was a bust yesterday seems like a few weeks out. If you have time I'd say it's worth looking down south a bit. Kind of a weird year. Although I don't think anyone hunts down here much?? Also not all in parks so makes kinda hard to find the spots.

Definately worth the $5 in gas lol.

You probably don't mean me since I doubt I have named the brand before, but that is what I use in my vegetable garden and my home patches. With good results.

NC I'm jealous, I have nothing like that going on here as of now. Just a few pins and a cluster in my planter.
