Every year it gets worse with the patch destroyers it seems but i love hunting and being first on the scene to find something like this!

basil pot cyans at home. Only one of six planted pots has sprouted any yet.

Excellent finds there! I'm gonna have to go out and see if I can find some...maybe check one of the parks I gave up on a couple years ago. I always seem to find them at places I ruled out after endless hunting.

Walked to my local college yesterday.....lol....don't ever waste time at colleges. These idiots will pick mushrooms out of existence if given the opportunity. But I did find a fresh spot that hadn't had time to get touched. I left them alone (I am sure they are destroyed by now) but I took a picture to illustrate how bad they screw shit up:

To the left of the fresh ones you can see how messed up the ground is from where the prior flush was.

Id be inclined to go along with liloldme's theory of the raccoons cause i witnessed similar damage today in a very secluded spot only the animals and i know about. No footprints in the mud or trails in the bushes but voraciously dug out clusters. I've always questioned weather other creatures hunt them to. Maybe liloldme can catch em on camera
