Some small odd looking Gymnopilus that I found yesterday. Not sure why the rotation is fucked up..

Cool little salamander

Took these pics in a completely different area. A much dryer area in full swing. Seen a couple other hunters but nobody wanted to chat. Does this look like an azurecens to anyone else? It is in dune grass, but way further south then you would expect. South of florence

Decided to take a walk on lunch....might have room for dessert!

99% sure these are Psilocybe cyanescens (just started the spore prints) but unsure how ripeness will affect things, are the darkest/black ones to old to consume?

Looks like a psathyrella. Note the fibrous stem it should come apart like string cheese and never blue. You can see the roughness down the stipe. Sometimes you see that in actives that have had to scrape their way up the surface but by then it's damaged enough to be bluing.

Adden, I believe you're right. All I took was that one pic,I didn't look for bluing or at the gills.

Print them all and/or take better photos for an ID thread if you want to be 100%.
As far as ripeness. Specimens are best right after the veil breaks, or in the case of those with pellicles, right after the spores have dropped.
Don't forget that bacteria and food poisoning are a real thing. After using a dehydrator, you can boil them in a tea if the old ones aren't suited for your tastes. They can also be ground up and put into capsules. You can also take older and rotted matures and bring them to a new area, or leave them to turn back into fungal sugars to feed the patch (they are far better than letting making the mycelium break down more material since it just dissolves back into the organism).
Most people leave them. Usually I print everything on foil, load up chopped matures and spores into solution, and just dump bottles of it around in suitable habitats.
Don't forget to bring scissors to harvest or have sharp nails. Get the mushroom right at the base as to not pull the mycelium up. If some does accidentally, which it will, you can take those for a small planter at home (like a discard bin) to make more spawn, or merrily toss them into suitable habitats and check on them next year.

Got inspired by all the talks of a trip to the coast. Still too early, but we didn't leave completely empty handed.

Well, coast it was...2 out of 3 usual spots were starting out, but the biggest had no signs of life...I too did not go home empty handed...to many people for habitat shots...[url=http://files.shroomery.org/files/16-41/614905021-20161010_182317.jpg][image]http://www.shroomery.org/forums/thumbs/16-41/614905021-

A patch that had fruited and then completely dried out came back with a vengeance! Almost couldn't see them because of the bruising.

Pretty sure these are stunzii. Thoughts?

I dunno that really looks like an immature cyan to me.
