Yeah....I thought fibs too. Just crazy that all three were basically all in the same chip bed. I love hunting.

Btw, Eritarka....those cinctulus look to me like Stropharia semiglobata.....?

Good work fq you are having a great season.

Seems like seattle still needs more rain to really get going. This next week should be good. I checked a lot of places today and only found a few pins and a few matures.

And another cluster of azzies are coming in with another right behind.

Very similar looking indeed. These guys came from the lower end of washington.

Adden anything popping off at the coast? May make a trip down there this coming week.

Nah not lately. I went out hiking/camping in Sept and despite a flash frost, nothing. There are still too many berries and some of those birds. I heard some mating I don't know what they are. But I was literally walking on frozen sand a week ago and watched the frosted dew call off leaves. The ground is too warm and there's not enough water. Once the coast gets dry smashed with cold storms they will be everywhere.

I've been in parks in the meantime. If I was in W/SW WA then I'd be on the coast looking. If I lived there I'd be in Grayland, Ocean Park, Ocean Shores, Ocean City, Pacific Beach and the list goes on.

Nice pictures everyone. Three species in one spot that's one for the books.

This past week in puget sound area has been perfect conditions for cyanescens to grow to maturity in a very quickly. Gotta be more clever if your not finding them yet! Every year it gets worse with the patch destroyers it seems but i love hunting and being first on the scene to find something like this!

basil pot cyans at home. Only one of six planted pots has sprouted any yet.

possible Psilocybe allenii, same area as last two years.

Cantharellus subalbidus

Woww that first one is epic. I definitely haven't found anything like that yet this year.  Seems like my area is still just getting going. None places still aren't producing like last year. Ground is just now getting saturated to get them going.  Finding mainly pins. Weather this weekend is primo though.

That definitely looks like a ps. Allenii look at the pic in my sig.
