Fq your Killin it with the wtf lbms 2 in a week... save some samples to be dna tested just in case. First ones look like cyanofribrilosa based on the bare stipe, cap shape and color, and obvious bluing. the second id say beaos based on cap color and loose distributed gills. Hadn't been very wet wouldn't expect em to get all droopy right now.
Everyone else you're kicking ass! Keep em coming! Where's the first azzys of the year!

Took most the day to find this mega patch.

Curious as to what the mycilium under the rhodie is. Found a watch. Provide Description for return.

West Oregon had a frost the other day. Solid sand pathways. Watched it melt off the brambles, fashioned a shelter, it was cold enough to need a hoodie under my coat. It's coming. I bet they're popping in WA somewhere. The rain that's coming this week will probably start "first flush". That's where my chips are and if people aren't pulling buckets by the 2nd week that would be atypical.
I'm going back to finish the shelter (I left a porno mag, matches and a snickers bar in a plastic bag above the enclosure. There's stacked firewood. I'm bringing out two gallon jugs of water. It is seriously in the middle of fuck-all nowhere but the climate changes on a dime. If it's getting ugly and you don't know your way out in the stormy season you're swimming.
Natural and placed brambles make razorwire out of 80% of it. Seats 4 or 2 with a fire. I'm bringing the hatchet and machete with me next time to finish it. I also found three amazing azure habitats with utility poles, docks and other harbor wood. They're so old they have soil on them and plants growing off of it. You'd never know where the place was unless you got lost like I did.
It is going to be a good season.

Do cyans and azures grow in central oregon coast or is it primarily in the north near the columbia?

I don't see why not as long as the temp and humidity is right.

So my goal for the year is to identify my first cyans, I got myfirst actives last year with azurescens. My question being, what temp range is acceptable for cyans to pin and fruit? It's been a warm beginning of fall here in Portland so I'm really skeptical that I'm gonna find any edibles or actives until the temps around the area cool down quite a bit. I've noticed the coastal temps are finally down between 50-60f on average should I make a trip to the woman's beach house for a few days?
