Do people have success colonizing spawned CVG in FC?

Do people spawn their tubs and then colonize them in fruiting conditions? I could have sworn I heard somebody mention that people were doing this with success a while back. Thought azures name might have been mentioned? Would be amusing if I was pulling this out of my hat though.
Anyways I tried every phrasing of it I could think of in the search and got nothing on the topic. They never do seem entirely happy under their holey foil lids

I've heard of people doing this. Not something I would personally do, but yeah, there it is.

Here are some results ive got with total neglect for two weeks and change
 I would do it again, like every time i make tubs
The method is how large_dose posted it in his ohmatic monotub thread like 6 years ago, with wall to wall flushes

Spent a lot of time digging in the dirt as a farm worker and gardener.
I pretend the dirt is all my problems. I loose myself there, getting filthy.

Many trusted cultivators have done it and confirmed that it works well. I've done it and got decent results. But I have never tried the "normal" way.

Lol I saw that and thought;
"by hooking up the chamber to a garden hose I can then turn the water on full blast and utterly saturate my substrates almost instantly, saving me weeks of waiting for pins to appear. . ."

Casing and fruiting at spawning is cool stuff. A couple of drawbacks but loads of upside.

I find it hilarious how apprehensive people are of it. There's been like 3-4 threads in the past month with people asking about this, and then some semi-regulars coming around being like "Sounds iffy, wouldn't recommend".

Well in reality people fruit before 100% alot because just cause the top is colonized doesn't mean the bottom is ... I wonder why people think its so iffy? Wouldn't you have more of a chance if you had bad spawn because more fae?

For folks who've tried this AND extended colonization for more potent fruits, which did you prefer? It's nice to be able to get a flush out of a tub so quickly, but are you missing out on potential potency?

I'm not saying others shouldn't do it. Just that I don't want to. Personally, I don't want the Myc to start munching down on my substrate too early by introducing FAE at spawning. I like to save the energy in the sub for as many flushes as possible.
I also use the introduction of FAE as a pinning trigger, so the mushrooms start pinning when I want them to, as opposed to whenever the mushrooms want to, unregulated.
It doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend it though. If you want a quicker first flush, go for it. But I find that by artificially introducing FAE at full colonization, you get a more even and full first flush. At least that has been my experience. But in all fairness I guess I don't really have a lot of experience with Fruiting at spawning so I'm not the go to for It.

Potency has little to do with when your mushrooms flush. It has more to do with genetics.
