I live on the north coast of Washington (PNW) and this is my second year back hunting. I had remembered picking azurs two years back around late September. This year seems to be pretty dry. I wonder what the fruiting variables are for azurecscens on the north coast. It seems this area fruits earlier than most. Any constructive information is appreciated. And any north coast locals on here who could help me out with some information would greatly be appreciated.

Fruiting variables are the nutrient cycle, temperatures and (not-so-much) rain. IME and from what I've read here, temperature is a much stronger pinning trigger than rain. They get kind of "bottom watered" by dew falling into the dune grass which trickles down into the mycelial mat. You'll definitely see them before us down the SW corner, but the integral 55/45 split is more what you're looking for.
