3 to ID- Autumn in Wisconsin
    #23635327 - 09/11/16 10:52 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

I was looking for Hen of the woods- didn't find any.  I did find several others that caught my eye, including R emetica.  Appreciate ID/confirmation on the three below

#1 is common- I guess it is a Russula- but not really sure
#2 might be Clitopilus prunulus
#3 possibly Pholiota flammans

Habitat:
#1 and 2 were in leaf litter and #3 on wood
in a mixed hardwood/conifer forest

Gills:
see pictures

Stem:
#1 hollow, 1 cm diameter, 8cm long
#2 solid, fiber, 0.5 cm diameter, 5cm long
#3 scabrous, 0.3 cm, 10 cm long

Cap:
#1 concave, spherical 8-10 cm diameter, tan, some larger-
#2 wavy, bright white, 8 cm
#3 convex, brown scabrous

Spore print color:
#1 white, faint
#2 pinkish, faint
#3 brown

Bruising:
#1 might get a little brown
#2,3- did not appreciate

Other
#1- very common in  areas- some look pretty big
#2- white clusters of 5-6 mushrooms together, reminds me a little of the clustering of oysters
#3 groups on wood

The third one is some kind of Pholiota; seems consistent with Flammans.

The first one is lactarius - possibly Lactarius Zonarius.

I agree Lactarius, and Infundibulicybe gibba and I'm a bit intrigued by the gills of the one that looks like a Pholiota.
