Hi everyone,
I read about "Discover mushrooms" software for windows to identify mushrooms on this forum but the links were broken. Does anybody still have that ?
If not, Is there any free software to do the job? or cracked one

You would be better starting with a very local field guide or tentatively learning to ID genera - there are a lot of species in the world and the process of identifying, that often requires a lot of notes and microscopy, can't be oversimplified, but if you can narrow your focus to local things or general taxonomy you won't need to crack any software. There are mushroom keys online for everyone and if you have this http://delta-intkey.com/ (and there may be similar things out there) you can download keys to all kinds of stuff, but again it isn't perfect or comprehensive, just an aid. Also plenty of free galleries. I'm not insisting you don't look for cracked mushroom ID software but it just seems a bit funny.

thnx for the reply Joie I already have in mind several species, grow locally. But I want to become acquainted with fungi kingdom and their taxonomy. You are right I dont need to crack a software, but still I will check the delta, there is too much reading to say anything about it. But looks like going to help me alot.

Or you could buy either or both and support the people that made the product. Or you could follow Joie's advice and learn to identify mushrooms using free keys, guides and tools already available to anyone with an internet connection. The information gleaned from those sources can, in a good number of posts on this board, suffice for providing the information a user is after. However, even with a combination of experience, knowledge and external tools, some species will require microscopy to ID. There exists no "golden key" that will be able to accurately ID 100% of the specimens, 100% of the time.
The time spent researching, downloading and using the tools you mentioned could be put to better use, learning about how to identify mushrooms from experience, knowledge and free external tools.
With the ability to download a copy of a software title and try it out for fourteen days, why wouldn't you buy it, if at the end of the fourteen day trial, you were satisfied? Besides, the android app you mentioned does not offer a trial period, so why are you directing efforts at pirating a software title that already offers a trial period?

I generally do these kind of things at night, so it is not possible to hunt for mushrooms at the time for me. The software is pretty expensive and I have difficulties to pay my bills. I dont have that much money to buy that software. Also, I want to learn about reverse engineering and improve my programming skills The app has only 15 mushroom for free, so it is kind of useless at this point.

I don't understand..

But there is a fourteen day trial. Which, at the conclusion of, one could likely just uninstall and reinstall the software to get another trial. Or use a VM for each trial if the uninstall/reinstall method fails.

OK. Here is a stepping stone, http://reverseengineering.stackexchange.com/a/268. However, not sure why mushroom ID software is the target of your interest. One would imagine working to crack a title that has already been cracked, with the assistance of a salty cracker would be more advantageous than cracking a title that has not been cracked, alone. But to each their own.

The point made in my last post was obviously lost on you, but it bears repeating...
