So I have my product in a tub colonizing from rye and it's day 19. They still look like they're coming along, but I was curious on what's the longest it normally takes to colonize before a fruit.

Normally? 2-3 weeks.
The longest? Sometimes if you're unlucky and The Myc is weak or the conditions suck, it can take up to 4-5 weeks. It just depends.

Also, if you're new and your posts contain the words: Humidifer, incubator, air-stone, or heater, then you need to read and UTFSE before asking people to review your setup. OR... You should be cultivating reptiles and fish, not mushrooms.

Are you fruiting straight off the rye, or did you mix with bulk sub. Did you dunk your grains prior to spawning. If you didn't dunk, and are fruiting straight grains, then maybe they could be dry? It's hard to say because we don't really know what you did

I normally am able to fruit by 2 weeks. I'm on day 19 with coir, gym, Verm. It's coming along, but taking longer than I've had to beofre. I figured I'd put into fruit by week 4. They're in a area that is controlled, due to we are growing a few pot planets (it's legal in oregon).

Generally you won't get mushrooms until fruiting conditions are met. You induce fruiting conditions after full colonization/consolidation.
Colonization vartioes in the amount of time it takes. Depends on the amount of substrate, the substrates moisture content, and if the mycelium has competitors such as bacteria or other molds.

Thank you for your input, I'm very familiar with how the fruiting process works and I have had many successful grows. The thing that was concerning me is how long it is taking. I'm starting to think that my conditions have a lower temperature than I normally try to create.. Next time I go to my spot where I grow them, I will make sure that the temperature is right.
I just never had it takes this long and that was starting to become concerning, then again I've also put them in fruiting before they were supposed to LOL. Just wanted some input

All that needed to be said lol. If shit's taking twice as long, there's obviously something wrong.. I mean why else would you be posting about it lol. We need pics the next time you go out to this spot lol
I don't really do the whole I guess thing. I prefer sight and explanation :P

Lol, just have him text a pic to you, you save the image and load to here. My guess would be it's either trying to fight a contam, or you should've used more spawn to your sub.
