Sorry, but you just have to admit, that better-looking people have it easier in life... in all aspects of the game.

Attractive people are more likely to be hired for jobs, they tend to do better in sales and service jobs and in politics, somebody on the street is more likely to help you if you're attractive and in trouble, beautiful people are less likely to be sentenced to jail, they're less likely to be cited by the police, and they also find more attractive, sexier, and wealthier partners.

Who wouldn't want to be attractive with all the perks that come with it?

Oh man, if I had all the money in the world, I'd shave my jawline, butcher my nose, get injections in my lips, and maybe even consider doing something with the eyes. I'd get a brazilian butt lift and probably C cup implants. I'd end up like Heidi Montag after her 20 operations.

Not saying that to be insulting in any way

I actually think I would have too

In fact, every now and then, especially when I was going through my roids phase, I thought extensively about whether to transition fully to FTM, maybe later on in my 40's. I already have the square jaw, I have a husky masculine voice, and high cheekbones, I think I'd make a pretty decent-looking guy.

The only thing I have going against me is that I'm short. 5'5" is not a good look for a man, even with big muscles.

My main worry though, would be transitioning, only to discover that I end up a really ugly man. I mean, I don't want to go through all that only to realize that I end up looking like one of those fugly ass dudes, that would suck. And I wouldn't be able to revert back to a woman after that, because my jaw structure has completely changed after hormone therapy, I'd end up looking like a butch woman for the rest of my life.

In reality though I'd probably get tons of plastic surgery first before I consider gender reassignment surgery. I mean, if I have all that money to change my looks, I'd probably go one direction first before I went the other.

Yeah, a lot of FTM's seem to uglify when the test runs its course.
5'5 isn't short for an Asian man, I'm only a few inches taller and have no issues from it

I think people forgive Jackson though, because he was ashamed of being black in a culture where racism was rampant. I mean MJ was born in the 50's. I think that's why people forgive him, is because they see it as him hating himself and his race kind of thing.

Yes, I'm aware people in the rest of the country are ugly compared to Californians. Somebody who's a 9 in Pennsylvania or Ohio would likely be a 6 in California.

But you can't deny, that beautiful people have it far better in life. Better jobs, better partners, better sex life, etc.

You only have more to gain, and nothing to lose, by becoming more conventionally attractive.

If I were even 5'9" I could get away with my height... but 5'5" is just TOO short for a man to make it in life, IMO. I feel like I'd end up one of those frustrated guys who's angry at the world if I were a 5'5" man. Hell after getting snubbed by enough women, I might even become an MRA.

I don't think 5'5 is really bad for an Asian guy, isn't 5'4 average?

Certainly wouldn't make things any easier, but personally I wouldn't sweat it

It's about the ratio of attractive people. In some places, you might only find 1 or 2 attractive people out of 100. In some parts of California, it's literally like you stepped into Ken and Barbie's dream house. You might be attractive, but you're still the most average-looking basic person compared to these other models and personal trainer types.

When I use online dating sites in California, I find tons of attractive guys. On the East Coast, I could only find them in New Jersey or Manhattan.... not in Pennsylvania. Yuck.

5'4" is average for women... not men.

Average height for men is 5'10" in America. For East Asian men, it tends to be around 5'8".

Apparently Tibetans average around 5'11". Northern Chinese also tend to be super tall, hence why they have people like Yao Ming.

I mean, there were a lot of attractive people around where I lived, but we're talking about Northridge and Pacific Beach. Go to Chula Vista and things change a bit

Apparently there's a surgery that you can have to make yourself taller though, it involves breaking your femur and installing plates in between the bones.

So if you want an extremely painful surgery and asymmetrical thigh and calf proportions, I guess you could consider this. :flowstone:

Damn, that guy was only 4'11" before surgery, I can kind of almost understand why he did what he did:

Wow, I always assumed it was a procedure you had to get in a foreign country... but I found a Hollywood doctor who does it: http://heightlengthening.com/faq/

I really wonder though, how often do malpractice lawsuits against plastic surgeons ever happen? Because I see a lot of people are unhappy with their cosmetic procedure results, yet the surgeons are almost never successfully sued in practice. I see patients saying that what they requested or were promised is nothing remotely close to the results, or some people who had adverse reactions like scarring or disfigurement or infections or allergic reactions to the surgeries say they were never warned about this possibility by doctors beforehand. But it seems lawsuits against plastic surgeons is rarely ever successful.

I dunno, none of this stuff in even on my radar of interest. I can't imagine wanting plastic surgery unless I was horribly disfigured in a tragic accident and needed a doctor to glue my face back on or something.
