all opinions welcome

Hey guys, so this is what I have so far.  I have a sonic humidifier and air stone. N you can see the rest.  Incubator is two tubs with a fish tank heater in between. 86degrees steady. FC is 72-75 degree. PE and KSSS.  I have two tubs just like this.  Coco choir and Vermont casing.  Just ordered pre-made spawn bags.  Open to any suggestions.

86 degrees is a terrible temp to colonize at.  Prepare for bacterial spawn bro.  We don't colonize at 86F anymore.  Try colonizing the same temp you fruit at.  You'll have a LOT better success.

Also Premade spawn bags are shit.  They are a crapshoot at best and probably will also end in complete and irrevocable failure.  I wouldn't suggest this to anybody.

Lower temps.  PC your own spawn.  Love life.  Be happy.

We can't see anything because you didn't post any pics.

Everything you're doing is wrong. Go read more. If it takes more than a box with holes it's wrong.

Yeah.. you only need a box with holes.  Air stone, humidifier, fish tank heater, toss ALL that shit.  Useless.  Not even useless, it's useful for hurting your results.

Not another one :facepalm3:
Air stones are for fish tanks
Heaters are for lizards if its a fishtank heater it will die the second its used out of water
Unless you are growing either of the two bin these immediately

Cut a hole in solid Green lid. Then put a see through lid to let light.  Then cut up Annie lid tomake a slanted drip catch.

Drip catch?

You made a drip shield?

That is like, 20 years old, ancient technique.  Mushrooms like water.  They are made of water.

Why are colonizing jars in a tub that looks like it's being humidified?  Colonizing jars should be on a dry shelf.

Not humidified.  No water in tub and yes drip shield. you see I appreciate any and all help. But I see a lot of comments on other posts that say keep reading. maybe that's my problem I've been reading too much. Everybody has their own type of way to do this. And their own preferences as well. I've read a lot of different PDFs and books and this one says do this this one says do that this one says don't do this don't do that. So I guess I just kind of combined everything together so far and this is what I've come up with. I don't use humidification for incubation. It's just a dual tub set up with water in between tubs and a fish tank heater inside to keep the water at a steady temperature I can adjust(dark blue tub) . So I can drop from 86 down to fruiting temp. if thats preferable.so don't do drip Shield it? From what I read it says that drops on mushrooms can cause a casing to develop bacteria or some sort. Also right now I have that 1 casing in there. I messed up I know I was impatient and I put it in my fruiting chamber too early. Then moved it back into incubator. I read another post people saying yes it's okay to do so. Some going to say no it's not okay to do some saying hey just fruit it and get what you get. So I don't know I kind of went with that. I want to start everything all over again and that's why I'm coming to this site for help and asking questions thank you guys though.please respond with Good Vibes. also if somebody's willing to direct message me on here and just kind of school me on this I'm totally willing to take advice.

Thanks guys. So take out all the humidification setup?  And just spray? Giong to soak rye tonight and wash jars for tomorrow.  Then inoculate in my glove box I just made. Any tips?  using clorox 1 to 10 ratio to clean everything. My PC isn't brand new. Will it affect anything? And I am going to U gympsum. Is it better to soak with it or boil for 10 minutes with it before I transfer into jars to sterilize?

Yeah remove the gloves you need a still air box
The age of the PC makes no difference after the first time anyone uses a new PC its not a new PC any more just give it a good clean first
