Looking for Lion's Mane to make big fruits

I fucking love lion's mane and think I need a better culture. The culture I'm using is from field and forest. It's a good fruiter, but I would like to find a culture that makes big fruits like what I've seen mushfarmer grow. Willing to trade if you have a nice hericium erinaceus, just let me know what you want, I may have it. Thank you for reading and any suggestions.

If you're fruiting out of a bag, try just 1 or 2 holes.

I asked a similar question, I'm looking for an aggressive lions mane. Got no replies. After much searching there was a post where RR said that Fungi Perfecti had one of the best lions mane. So I just ordered it today. Guess will have to wait and see.
You could try more supplements and more substrate, with fewer holes.

Hey you! Good to see you on here!
Edited to add: I actually have a Lipa 1 wedge waiting to be dropped, when I grow it out I can give y'all a couple wedges and see if it makes a difference for you to see if you'd want to order a culture of it.

Yes it is noticeable for lion's mane as well as oysters that with many holes the fruits are smaller. I like to make small holes for lion's mane to try an prevent contamination after harvest.

Good luck with your new culture. My FF culture is aggressive and very fast to fruit, making it a challenge to expand without contaminating. Timing is everything.
Now that I think of it, the way I fold the bags might make a difference. When the filter is exposed the lion's mane tries to fruit out of the filter patch. I'll definitely start flipping it the other way so the filter is trapped. I do put tape over the filter but fruitbody just pushes the tape off and fruits through.

Hey, I see you all over these pages.
What's Lipa 1? Also, I just got in 3 liquid culture syringes If you want to bring a few grain jars over you could see if they'd take off for you. They are from mycosymbiotics; pioppino, miatake, shimeji they are all jumping off on oats for me, I also put them on agar plates, I'll have to try shimeji again. Thankfully the beech you gave me is looking fantastic on agar I'm going to drop it on grain tomorrow.

From what I've seen its a favorite around these parts. I got it from Motown Mushrooms- it's the one they use for their LM. Distributor here.
And yeah that would be awesome! I'll have to prep and sterilize some jars as I'm all out at the moment. Thanks! I'll let you know when I'm ready!
