Ruthless nausea is very common and nausea is one thing that ruins quality of life IME.
dealing with adverse effects for a short time isnt as horrible as dying a prolonged, agonizing death

It isn't always painful. Yes to a certain degree, but medication can control it. I am not trying to be an ass .

what's to solve, we know what causes cancer in most cases, we know the risk factors in cancer, not everything can be cured or prevented because even those that live healthy lifestyles, dont smoke or drink, etc... some still contract cancer
just so you know, most charities arent charitable, the bulk of the money goes to administration and acquiring donations, the money that does go toward the goal is spent on research but that doesnt guarantee a cure, it does allow us to learn and develop treatments and one day possible a cure or even a preventative measure
even then, that doesnt mean any of it will be successful, in the 90s an effective vaccine for lyme disease was developed, 3 doses and it was 100% effective at prevention of lyme disease, this was also around the same time that the anti-vax movement was born and they made the claim that it caused arthritis and other problems, much like the anti-vax retards today claim they causes autism, anyway the fear these people generated cause the vaccine to become disused and the company producing it went out of business
so even if a cure for cancer is developed, what will happen? will the same retards claiming that chemo kills and marijuana cures be making the same sorts of claims that encourage people to avoid legitimate treatments? maybe if we're lucky, many of them will get cancer and show us how effective their alternative cures really are, maybe they can document their slow death due to holistic medicine, prayer and marijuana so we can learn just how stupid they really are

are you advocating the use of chemicals in an anti-chemo thread?
good to know it isnt 'always' painful.
it is never actually pleasant though

I read and here is the answer.... I'm saying there is pain killers available and the majority use them.
Why try to start an argument? 'are you trying to advocate chemicals in a anti chemo thread?' Yes I am because everyone has a right to be pain free.

pain is an inherent part of life, there is no right to being pain free

sorry i should have said in the context of chemo/cancer.
In other words, those with cancer or undergoing treatment have a right to be pain free.
Hope that clarifies it.

that makes the statement completely different. typically doctors will prescribe something for the pain, some doctors will also suggest things they cant prescribe

I'm glad I could explain better. I don't explain to well most of the time.
Strange thought, but I know they give large doses of morphine while in the last stages of life. would it work to administer something such as dmt? This might seem a bad idea. Any thoughts on that?

Eh, you only have so many options.
Whether or not I would undergo chemo, depends on how old I am.
At this point, I'd likely just ride it out and put a slug in my head when things go too far. Dealt with too much pain and sickness, for too long, more afraid of a few more months of agony than death. Death is inevitable, at least this would force me to prepare for it, cross the t's and dot the i's.
