Is this HPPD?

Hey guys! I recently bought 11 tabs of acid (I haven't tested them, but they're from someone I trust) and I've taken them a number of times. Each time I took them was pretty freaky for different reasons but I really enjoy the experience. I've heard that large amounts of anxiety can cause HPPD, and I've been seeing some "differences" in my vision. I've recreated what one of the visuals (if you can call them that) I've been seeing. I see this whenever I stare at a bunch of horizontal lines:

So does anyone think this is HPPD? Either way, it doesn't affect my everyday life in the slightest and it's pretty interesting to look at.

bud, how are the responses on those triggers? I never liked the rubber pads for E kits. Roland has it down with the mesh heads, tho I admit the rebound/response is too sensitive and ends up turning alot of your singles into mini buzz rolls if you dont turn the sensitivity down.
As for your question I think its not. That happens to me sometimes, I think the reaction to the constant pattern and light combined can play tricks on your eyes. Kinda like optical illusions.
Also I like your user name heh one of the most underrated movies and its an even more amazing book!

I'm not sure if that is/isn't HPPD but I'd say it's likely. Cool rendition by the way, pretty accurate. I see stuff like this too when I look at any high detailed/repetitive surface like shutters, fields, carpet etc. Most obvious on shutters like in your example.
It also could be a case of you saw this before doing acid and hearing of HPPD but didn't acknowledge it, and now you notice it now because you know about it and you pay more attention to your vision. Just my two cents.

I'd say it is probably more the standard aftereffects of having taken psychedelics recently and should go away either partly or completely if you took a break for a while. You have to decide how bothersome or annoying you find it to be.

I find ever since I started using psychs I get this grainy layer to my sight aot of the times. Mostly in the dark kinda like visual snow from a tv. It goes away tho. MDMA gave me weird auras and light trails for up to a week and a half after alot of use.

I think when you develop these visual disturbances permanently is when you have HPPD so it can be a slippery slope.

For sure, a friend of mine used alot of 25I consistently for a few months and claims to have seen strong tracers for up to a year. That would be pretty annoying I think.

REAL HPPD is extremely rare so I doubt it. Almost all people who think they have HPPD don't.

if you think about it too much and try to see shit wrong with you're vision, you're going to because our vision is imperfect and always has been, sometimes after taking psychs and reading about hppd you start to notice these imperfections because before you hallucinated it was just normal and went unnoticed but after your vision was altered and hallucinated you start to pay more attention to it.
If you look back through my early posts on the site, I was basically asking these same questions, went away very shortly after I stopped thinking about it but if I stare and try to see something I can practically make it happen even though it's minor.

I've had a super bad trip before with DPH (dont fuck with it) and I was seeing crazy weird things for a months afterwards every time I went out at night. Basically I was stuck in my friends house tripping super hard (I was the only one tripping and there were like 16 of his family members in the house) Didn't get caught but I had a lot of anxiety and when I was tripping I saw a lot of disturbing things. I saw blood on the walls and in the sink and everything. I made my way to my friends bed since they fell asleep watching a movie and I rolled over to see a decapitated head staring at me. I was curled up in bed and I heard his family members come in and yell at me over and over again for 8 hours. When my friends came to check on me in the morning I didn't respond to them at all because I thought it was a hallucination. They thought I was dead which of course made me think I was dead. Luckily my friend (who is an EMT) came over to check my pulse and said I was fine, which then snapped me out of it. He drove me home cause I asked him to, and my grandma caught me trying to sneak in. I couldn't converse at all but for some reason she didn't think I was tripping, just super tired. She then brought me to lunch with more of my family members and I had to deal with that. I went in the bathroom and my pupils were oscillating from gigantic tripping-balls-moon-eyes to p

for some reason it chopped the end of my post off.
... my pupils were oscillating from gigantic tripping-balls-moon-eyes to pinhole heroin eyes. For weeks afterwards, I was seeing creepy things like people standing still watching me at night which makes me think I may have some sort of tendency towards HPPD. Really though the post-acid visuals are totally fine and don't bother me at all.
