Plants don't necessarily need anything from us, just space, water and sun, not getting to technical about it.

They don't necessarily need to be feed anything, sure they need nutrients and micro nutrients but that's not the same either.

yes, and...?

Plants do not have near the capability to feel emotion or pain to the degree of animals.

bees are manipulated and controlled by bee keepers for profit or a means to survive

yes, and...?

if they didn't produce honey no one would give a fuck about them as far as their "livelyhood" goes.

tell that to a farmer with a fruit orchard, or nuts for that matter

It's really not the same thing and if you want to view it like that then you have to consume something, plants are the lesser of two evils.

it really is the same thing.  heterotrophs have to consume other creatures to survive.  Some are more suited to eating photosynthetic creatures like plants and algae, while others are more suited to eating other heterotrophs like delicious pigs, or insects.  Some are best suited as omnivores, eating a little of this and a little of that.  None of these is the lesser evil, because none of them is evil at all.  As for bee "slavery", its really a pretty good deal for the bees.  Beekeepers provide suitable habitat (hives) and they even help the bees forage by moving the hives from place to place.  They harvest the bees' honey, but replace it with a suitable alternative.  In return for their work as pollinators and honey producers, humans have spread them across the earth, well outside their native range, and at total population numbers higher than any they could have hoped to achieve without stewardship.  Everybody wins.
