Hi Alyssa, thanks. I only found this place because I've been out a-hunting for a few weeks, and only found ones and twos. Have read some of the '2016 UK season' thread, and am reassured to just be patient.

Hi Thayendanegea, thanks for welcome. Nice track you posted, not heard that one. Here's the original
Man I love that southern shit-kicking music But I took the name from this
It's from my childhood, my Pa's side of the family were of the traveling persuasion.
Edit- spelled your name wrong.

It's a great obsession IMO. The little synchronicities that occur more frequently as one opens up to the full spectrum of life keep me on the path of further opening.
Hella.

Could be a good few weeks yet, though I feel based on the near continual rainfall the last 12+ months that this year should be a bountiful one in terms of harvest.
Loving the Dubliners and Shane reference in a single thread! Just gotta wait for those 'cold and misty mornings' for the hunt to prove fruitful, though perhaps slightly further afield from the Albert Bridge.
Welcome, sir, have a good look around the site, plenty of UK members, nothing against our international brothers and sisters of course!
The Uk harvest threads will be abuzz with activity as soon as things kick off properly so just keep your eyes peeled on the appropriate threads/forums and I am sure you will enjoy a bountiful year.
Welcome aboard, 99% of the people here are very cool and a great deal of knowledge to be gained and shared, let us know how the hunting goes! Make sure to check the forum rules etc though, no specific locations allowed, though you can be fairly creative with how specific you may accidentally get...

Seriously though, there's masses of information here about many other things I find fascinating. Propagating Boletus Edulis for instance. A friend of mine has kilos on kilos, dried and maturing, year on year. The oldest smells like dark chocolate. And the duck and mushroom soup it makes is to die for.
Edit Well, the quote worked, but the 'shocked face' failed miserably

The selection of smileys/emoticons or whatever da yoof are calling them at the moment is overwhelming, you will soon learn a few go to favourites and be adding animated punctuation with abandon!

lol....thanks for that Dubliners and Jimmy Martin original Version....been a while since I heard it. I love that old bluegrass music but I also love how the Outlaws covered it.
