Why don't you innoculate right there in that room? Use an exacto knife and scrape a tiny bit onto the blade, then drop them in the jar. I hope I haven' misunderstood your question, but I hope taht works. Or you can scrape it onto the blade, then mix with water and make a syringe.Peace.

Thanks for the input. I will try scraping them into a shotglass and then let them re hydrate. After a year i hope they are good. Peace.

Maybe taking some scotch tape and tape over the print. Perhaps you can pick up some of the spores that was also.

But my next step would be the same as others suggested. I would either make a syringe or innoculate agar. That way you can isolate and maintain a sterile culture as much as possible.
