Tried it. It always seemed like a waste of time to me.

I did it once for an hour. I was excited to try it but I was let down. It hurt my neck and I couldn't get comfortable. There was a humming noise from the filtration system and I kept hearing people shower in the room next to me. It was actually pretty noisy in there. I think it could be better if I was in a better tank and I found a way to get comfortable. Maybe a vertical tank would be better.

I absolutely love float tanks.. I've floated maybe like 10 times.. it's expensive sadly, but definitely beneficial. My first float was like 2 and a half hours.. I've been hooked since..
I will open my own business one day with float tanks, that I can teach kundalini yoga and meditation out of.. I'll hold drum circle/pot luck events there at least once and month and whatever other awesomeness I encounter along my journey to share..

I could really use a float today. I think ill go use my float for the month. Was thinking about saving it and taking a 3 hour float when I can but I think ill go for 90 minutes today.
If i could afford it I would have one every single day.
Wonderful wonderful therapy.

That's a depravation tank
koods went to a penis deprivation tank once he said it was the worst thirty minutes of his life
Haha +5!
OP floats are awesome but if the tanks are more than an hour away I'd just get a massage locally.

I wish I owned a sensory deprivation tank, I would spend lots of time there.
Worth dedicating a room of my house to.
They are stupid expensive though, $12,000 plus.
If I were a rich man..
Sensory deprivation tanks provide the same effect as dissociatives do, without drugs.
