Identifying mushrooms
    #23620791 - 09/07/16 05:38 AM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Me and my friends are pretty new to this and went hunting yesterday on Dartmoor. We ended up picking most mushrooms we could find in the hopes of identifying them when we got back. Not sure if any of these are the right sort but thought I'd post on here to check anyway.
Picked on Dartmoor in SW U.K. Found in sheep and cow grazed field, growing both in soil and dung.
Dark brown-black gills, attached.
Dark brown-black+thin stemmed.
Some have the nipple on the top of the cap, some don't.
Can take better pics if needed, phone camera isn't too good anymore.

Panaeolus species, probably several species mixed in that pile.  There is an active member in Panaeolus but it is very mild and I have never collected it.

Thanks, had a look around online and found some Panaeolus species have an active member and some don't but are edible all the same. Will try them at the weekend
