Have you ever seen something like this? I posted a pic of my cactus a couple of months ago when this shriveled skin appeared after holding it for too long under a brightsun lamp. Now there seems to have appeared new life Is there some special care i should give the new "pups" (????? what are these?????) Thank you :3

It is wonderful how cacti react to changes. You accidentally destroyed its growing point, so it grew a new one.

Just like this Myrtillocactus geometrizans - was used as grafting stock but the graft failed, leaving it without a growing point - so again it grew a replacement.

That looks like an etiolated lophophora. That thing needs more light. Not sirect sun but something shaded.

i know i know it stands on the windowsill since the brightsun lamp was too much light, but it just wont squat. Also thank you for the answer!

The colour is wrong for an etiolated specimen. Some plants have an unusual natural variation, I think maybe this is one.

she was actually a very bright green before i put her on the windowsill i believe she is getting better not sure yet though.
